Players must carefully manage their fleets, navigating through a series of phases that include Fleet Sortie, Operational Phase, and Return to Port. Each ship in Port Arthur has distinct attributes that influence its role and effectiveness in combat. You’ll need to strategically deploy these vessels to control sea zones and gain the upper hand. Engage your opponent in naval battles, secure key zones, and adjust your strategy to outmaneuver your rival in this historically rich scenario.
Victory is achieved by either ensuring the Japanese army cannot establish a foothold in Mukden by the sixth turn, or by dominating the Points of Control (POC) track, which shifts based on control of sea zones. With each turn, the tides of war can change, making every decision crucial to your success.
