Shiraki Kenichi Mizu-Honyaki Yanagiba Knife, made from Shirogami-1 Steel

This is a rare and valuable Honyaki knife crafted by the esteemed Kenichi Shiraki. The 245mm Yanagiba is a precious Mizu-Honyaki sashimi knife, highly sought after for its quality and craftsmanship.

The knife comes without a handle, allowing you to choose and attach a handle of your preference upon arrival. Though it has been stored for some time, it is in unused condition. There are some minor rust spots on the blade edge, but they are not significant and can be removed if you want.

As the buyer may have their own preferences for use, the knife has not been sharpened and will be delivered in its original state.

The blade bears the engravings "白一鋼" (Shirogami-1 Steel) and "水本焼" (Mizu-Honyaki). The tang features the engravings "白木作" (Shiraki) and "白一鋼" (Shirogami-1 Steel).
