The Athlon Cronus BTR GEN2 UHD 4.5-29×56 APRS6 FFP IR MIL is Athlon's flagship competition scope, pairing UHD extra-low-dispersion glass with the APRS6 Christmas-tree reticle — a dot-grid FFP design built specifically for PRS and NRL stages where fast wind holds and precise elevation references win points. The APRS6 packs 0.2 MIL hash marks in all four directions, an expanding dot grid from 1 to 10 MIL below center with windage references widening at each level, and a floating 0.04 MIL center dot — all on the same 34mm, 32 MIL elevation, stainless-turret Cronus platform that long-range shooters consistently rank among the best values under $1,500.

Key Features
  • APRS6 FFP IR MIL dot-grid Christmas-tree reticle — purpose-built for competition and long-range precision. The first focal plane design keeps all subtensions accurate at every magnification. The reticle features a floating 0.04 MIL center dot for fast target acquisition, 0.2 MIL fine hash marks extending in all four directions, and an expanding dot grid below center: 1 MIL wide at the 1 MIL drop line, progressively widening to 4 MIL on each side at 10 MIL — giving you detailed wind hold references at every elevation. Larger 1 MIL interval dots and numbered marks at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 MIL let you index holdover positions instantly. Numbered windage references extend to 4 MIL on each side of center
  • UHD extra-low-dispersion glass with advanced fully multi-coated lenses and XPL protective coating delivers bright, color-true images with virtually no chromatic fringing — even at 29x on high-contrast targets. The UHD glass uses Japan-sourced extra-low-dispersion elements that Sniper's Hide members describe as "a wash" with the Vortex Razor HD Gen II and "every bit as good as" Schmidt & Bender PM II optics at a fraction of the price
  • 32 MIL total elevation and 18 MIL total windage adjustment in a 34mm one-piece tube with 10 MIL per revolution — the oversized tube provides the internal space for generous adjustment range, giving you the travel to dial confidently past 1,000 yards on virtually any centerfire cartridge without a canted rail. One full turn equals 10 MIL, and every click is exactly 0.1 MIL
  • Exposed elevation and windage turrets with stainless steel internal components produce sharp, loud, tactile clicks that are easy to count even with ear protection. The stainless internals resist wear and maintain consistent feel over thousands of adjustments — reviewers call them "the most audible and defined" turret clicks they've tested. Every documented tracking test on the Gen 2 platform has passed with zero deviation
  • Precision zero stop returns to your exact zero with a hard, repeatable mechanical stop — dial up for a 1,200-yard shot and come straight back to zero without counting clicks or checking the turret indicator
  • 4.5-29x magnification with a 56mm objective — 29x gives you the resolution to read mirage, spot trace, and identify targets at extreme distance, while the 56mm objective maintains a bright image through the power range. The 4.5x low end provides a wide field of view (24.8 ft at 100 yards) for target acquisition and stage transitions. Note: the APRS6's fine line work is optimized for use at 16x and above — at lower magnifications, the thin holdover marks become difficult to read due to FFP scaling
  • Red illuminated reticle with 11 brightness settings — daylight-bright illumination with off positions between each setting for rapid on/off cycling. The illuminated elements include the center dot, fine hash marks, and dot grid; the heavy outer posts remain unlit for an uncluttered sight picture. Powered by a standard CR2032 battery
  • Side-focus parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity — covers everything from mid-range precision work to ELR
  • Argon-purged, one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum construction — waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Argon provides superior fog resistance compared to nitrogen purging. Tested under recoil from .338 Lapua Magnum and .50 BMG platforms with no shift

Ideal For

PRS and NRL competitors who want maximum holdover information in the reticle — the APRS6's expanding dot grid gives you precise wind and elevation references at every MIL level below center, so you can hold over for both drop and wind simultaneously using the virtual cross-point method instead of dialing windage. The 32 MIL of elevation travel, zero stop, stainless turret internals, and crisp 0.1 MIL clicks deliver the mechanical features competition demands. At roughly 40% the cost of the ZCO, Kahles, and Nightforce scopes that dominate the top-200 PRS survey, the Cronus puts flagship-tier optics within reach for competitors who invest the difference in match fees, ammunition, and training.

Long-range precision shooters building MIL/MIL systems around 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, 6.5 PRC, or magnum cartridges — the APRS6's numbered elevation marks to 10 MIL and progressive windage grid let you hold complex solutions without dialing, which is especially useful for rapid engagements or when time doesn't allow for precise turret adjustments. The UHD glass lets you read conditions and correct at distance with clarity that competes with the Vortex Razor HD Gen II ($2,499) and Leupold Mark 5HD ($1,900+). Community consensus puts the Cronus GEN2 at roughly 85-90% of the optical and mechanical performance of these scopes at a significantly lower price.

ELR (extreme long-range) shooters pushing past 1,500 yards — the APRS6's dot grid extends to 10 MIL below center with 0.2 MIL precision at every level, giving you the reticle real estate to hold for extreme bullet drop without running out of references. The 32 MIL of turret travel and 34mm tube complement this with the mechanical range to dial deep when conditions allow.

APRS6 vs. APRS1: Both reticles ride on the same Cronus platform — identical glass, turrets, tube, and specs. The APRS6 has finer line work with 0.2 MIL hash marks in all four directions and a detailed expanding dot grid optimized for holdover shooting. The APRS1 has a slightly cleaner, less busy design with thicker marks that are easier to read at lower magnifications. Choose the APRS6 if you prioritize maximum holdover information and shoot primarily at 16x+; choose the APRS1 if you want a more versatile reticle that remains readable across the full magnification range.

Very nice fleeces
This is a clean, soft, well groomed fleece intended for use on a 6 foot long sofa, so bought 2. They moved too much as a result of shifting bodies on the leather couch, so will get a longer version, sewn bottom to bottom, and used each of these fleeces on both armrests, instead.

Excellent Product!!! Will purchase again!
Size: 2' x 3' (Natural), Color: Wolf Tipped
Instead of ordering a cover for reclining loveseats, I chose to drape one of these over the headrest on either end of our loveseat. Not only do they protect the leather, they also help to elevate our decor. The rugs were received in a very timely manner. They are super soft, & warming as we move into the winter months. We've had family & friends comment on how great they look. 2 of them have already ordered, & added them to their sofa/loveseat/recliner decor. Have an issue of them slipping, add some velcro in between the crook of the cushion & the back of the furniture piece. It doesn't show & will help to keep the rug in place; if your busy body.!

Perfect for sensory sensitive kids and for the pure beauty of it

After speaking over the phone with the seller, I was confident in this purchase for my SPD son. They do not use harsh chemicals or dyes in the process. It is from New Zealand and the only use in Vietnam is for shipping. My son hasn't been diagnosed yet for Autism but he is in the process. He is super sensitive to all things sensory and Amazon feedback isn't the place to give specific details on his condition but I will write that when he fist touched it- which was willingly- he smiled and asked to sleep on it. When he laid down on it and I covered him- he was calm and smiling. In the pic I provided he is calm and holding his door (his obsession is doors and windows). He even set his door down to hold the fur. For other mommies and papas with spd/autistic kids you know that willingly touching a new fabric and setting down an obsessive item is huge and super encouraging! I am so grateful to have such a quality item that is affordable for my special needs son. His older sister received one as well as is now pretending to be a sheep. Fun for everyone! The ONLY negative is that the brand/info sticker on the pelt was a pain to get off and pulled some of the felt - not damaging it but blemishing the unity -but if the skin is down it will not be noticeable. A super fun detail is that all of the fur is combed out but there were a few strands that were wavy and had a slight curl- I LOVED that. There was no odor at all which is great! I expected an animal smell which is better than chlorine or dioxin which is what competitors use in their process. There is no noticeable seam in the middle on the top where the two pelts are gathered. I am soooo satisfied!

I have a bad back along with other medical problems. I bought this for padding in my wheelchair. Very thick, soft, flexible, everything I needed. No smell and very little shedding even initially. Arrived quickly and well packaged.
