It’s built around an asymmetrical upper that fits perfectly with Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and twin dials to allow you to control the upper and lower sections independently. Underneath, the lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole delivers awesome cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe-tip to boost grip when hiking over ice and rock. They've smoothed out the connection between the outsole and the boot via a molded section called the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in your binding’s heelcup. A tough rubber print on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch more style. Inside, a cozy Silver liner made from the snuggest materials; it’s comfortable straight out the box – with good wriggle room for your toes – and heat-moldable for a custom fit. The Altai is a mid-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it great for laying down carves in resort or threading lines through the trees.
