Bright garnet in colour the wine opens with spice and savoury characters, which are the hallmark of Martinborough Pinot Noir. This is an elegant expression with red fruit accents, reminiscent of fresh summer berries. There is also an autumnal feel to the wine, with turned earth, sumac and dark chocolate. The palate is taught and juicy, with forest floor and more of the savoury nuances coming through. It is crunchie and fresh, with a vibrancy and softness that is carried by silky tannin. This is a wine that is created with early drinking in mind but will reward with a few years in the cellar.

Awarded 95/100 Points: James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com
Awarded 94/100 Points: Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate

"This is very structured for a 2022 vintage, with fine, linear tannins that run the length of the wine, giving backbone, focus and a tight fruit structure. It's very typical for a Central Otago pinot. So much clarity and focus to this" James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com

"The 2022 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir nose is electric, with blood orange and brine, cherry pip and raspberry, cranberry and caperberry. In the mouth, the wine is energetic and spicy, with a long spool of tannin and fruit entwined through the finish. It's floral and bloody as well. It's an utterly lovely and wonderful wine with a super pleasant aftertaste that lingers" Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate

Experience a well-balanced palate that seamlessly blends fruit and tannins. 1 x CENTRAL Central Otago Pinot Noir 2024

Awarded 94/100 Points & 5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Awarded 92/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Pristine and elegantly expressed, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, sweet cherry, floral, warm spice, and toasted almond notes, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's beautifully rounded and flowing. Splendidly structured by polished tannins, making it harmonious and persistent. At its best: now to 2032" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"A mix of dark berries and Doris plum, layers of fruit and wood spice with a touch of smoke and clove. Dry, taut, varietal, Black currant, dark cherry, some mineral and earth-stone. Well made, firm youthful tannins, plenty of polish, there’s a distinctive backbone of acidity adding power and length on the palate. Ready to drink from late 2026 through 2031+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2025

A beautifully aromatic Pinot Noir with bergamot, bay leaf, fresh plum and cinnamon notes, and a firm yet elegant structure.

1 x Craggy Range Te Muna Single Vineyard Martinborough Pinot Noir 2024

Awarded 95/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Awarded 93/100 Points: Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Taut, ripe, textured and delicious, a wine that reflects both the vineyard and region. A focused palate of dark cherry and baked red berry fruits, some dark plum and fruit spice, balanced measure of oak and lengthy finish. The mineral layer suggests baked brown and stone soil. Well made with plenty of length and definition. Best from 2027 through 2031+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"The 2023 Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Noir is powerful but framed within an ethereal structure of ductile tannin. The fruit is eminently red, and the wine feels elegantly integrated at all levels. It's a lovely expression of Martinborough, and it manages restraint and measure at every opportunity. The acidity is fine and saline, the balance is there and the oak merely supports. There is a savory herbal nuance through the finish, but it all works. Recommended" Robert Parker

Bright, deep scarlet in colour. Evocative floral aromatics of lavender and jasmine, with notes of sweet spice. Distinctly Te Muna, it is so elegant and poised. A very fine, ethereal palate. The silk laden tannins amalgamate with little resistance, giving incredible flow. A supremely elegant release. Single Vineyard.

Food Pairing: Spring lamb, grilled salmon, duck and mushroom risotto.

Best drinking from 2026 through 2034" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

Bright, fragrant scents of red fruits with hints of dried herbs. Flavours of red cherry, cranberry and crushed strawberry are wrapped in fine, chalky tannins and subtle spice. The lighter frame of this style balances fruit with structure and ripples with youthful energy. Organic. Vegan.

Awarded 93/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Awarded 92/100 Points: James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com
Awarded 90/100 Points & 4 Stars: Stephen Wong, Master of Wine, The Real Review

"A lovely bouquet, youthful and vibrant, crunchy and fresh with scents of red berry fruits and a light savoury dried herb touch. A layer of new oak and woody spice qualities adds bredth. On the palate a dry wine, youthful and textured, dry and savoury, a core of red berry fruits and paprika smoke spices. Well made with plenty of tannin and acidity for mouthfeel. Best drinking from 2025 through 2031+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Spicy and red-fruited character with cherries, dried strawberries and hints of licorice and cocoa. Medium-bodied, juicy and savoury, with crunchy tannins. Vibrant and characterful. Sustainable" James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com

"Quite brooding, with chewy tannins, this is a shaded, reticent wine which resides in the darker parts of the fruit spectrum. Woody and a bit austere, this broad-shouldered, ripe and fairly concentrated pinot will benefit from either food or time in the cellar to help tame the structure and allow the fruit to unfurl" Stephen Wong, The Real Review

Earthy vibrant nose, subtle oak, reminiscent of smoked meat, with light florals and vibrant red and blue fruits. Dark cherry and red berry flavours with savoury mineral/graphite-like notes. Fine, supple, and poised with a well integrated tannin structure. Sustainable.

Food Pairing: Duck, lamb, charcuterie, smoked salmon.

Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.
