The Link Electronics 11801080 is a multiplexer de-multiplexer for embedding and de-embedding AES audio onto an SDI signal. Audio is embedded onto the SDI video signal for single cable AV distribution. This function allows high quality signals to travel long distances on one cable for economic and space considerations.
Note: Analog audio is available as an option
- Multiplexing
- The 1180 is designed to insert analog or digital audio signals onto a single SMPTE 259M serial component digital video signal. The audio signal will be placed onto the SDI video according to SMPTE 272M-1994.
- Demultiplexing
- This unit is designed to extract the digital audio signal from a single SMPTE 259M serial component digital video signal. The demultiplex function reads the AES/EBU audio signal and sends the data in AES format out the digital audio output port.
- Audio
- 20 bit or 24 bit audio can be selected; 75 ohm unbalanced and 110 ohm balanced audio are supported. Multiple channels can be embedded and de-embedded.
- Multiple System
- Digital NTSC (525/60) and PAL (625/50) television systems are supported for signal acceptance and reproduction.
- Rack Card
- This card was design to fit into the 1000 series rack card chassis or the 7200 single card chassis.

Easy to use, and long-lasting sun protection

Coppertone SPF 30 sunscreen is our go-to for the beach and pool. I also keep a bottle in the truck for when we're doing anything outdoors like tailgating and things of that nature. It's not greasy, it goes on easy, and works exactly as it should. We don't worry about sunburns with this stuff, and it seems to last just fine even after spending time in the water. I can put this on when we first go out onto the beach or the pool in the hot Carolinas sun, and I can spend hours out there without getting burned. I do reapply after a few hours if we're in and out of the water a lot or in the more intense sun further south like in the Caribbean.
To be fair, part of what I like is the nostalgia of using the same brand that my mom slathered on us kids in the 1970's, lol, but in those days sun protection wasn't as important to us as a deep tan was, so we'd still burn. Modern day Coppertone makes sun protection their priority, and I don't know of a better sunscreen that's as easy to apply and lasts any longer than this one. Is it possible to get a tan while using this product? Sure, but it takes longer and that's fine - because I rarely burn at all when using it, and that's the whole point.
