First thus. Dapperly illustrated endpapers in light green. 128pp. Published under the title ‘Cocktails and Mixed Drinks’ in 1979 by Anthony Hogg. Reissued by Mary Quant Cosmetics in 1987 with a VERY festive Christmas introduction from Quant pointing readers to the Champagne Cocktail and the feisty Between the Sheets or Morning Glory. Christmas was apparently about a lot more for the fashion designer. A comprehensive and fun book, as cocktail books should be, Hogg was ahead of his time in recommending hosts to always have a non-alcoholic cocktail as an option and gives instructions for several including the “Cinderella” presumably for those who prefer not to turn into a pumpkin or are driving the pumpkin home.
Near fine condition. No jacket as issued.
