| Product Descriptions | All the limited slip differentials in the GT L.S.D. Series were tested in actual battle in All Japan Grand Touring Championships. They were used during the 2002 season by the GT500 XANAVI NISMO GT-R and the GT300 Daishin Advan Silvia. They are currently favorites at the D1 Grand Prix, at tuning car races and at touring car endurance races such as the Super Taikyu. From street racing to circuit and drifting, you'll find an LSD to fit your needs here. Basic Model: Fixed initial torque & internal pressureThe design standard for the initial torque output value is 8.0 kgf・m at the time of delivery. After the LSD is broken in and the plates are working well together, it will stabilize at 6.0 to 6.5 kgf・m. 20 large-diameter plates Increasing the number of plates to 20 makes the shift from slip to lock dramatically smoother. The diameter of the plates themselves, which are the actual slipping faces of the LSD, was augmented 55% over existing models. The result is a decreased load on each sliding face for a 30% gain in durability. Plate tooth design: the greatest tooth surface for the hightest power efficiency The plates have 16 outside teeth which pick up the power input from the engine and eight interior teeth handle input from the road. The case and side gear, which catch and hold the plate gears, have been set with ultimate precision, giving you a large-diameter-plate LSD that completely controls slip judder. You will get stable, smooth, effective power and improved durability. Possibility of conversion between 2-WAY & 1.5-WAY Both 2-WAY and 1.5-WAY setups are available for purchase. By machining the pressure ring's cam angles, it is possible to convert between 2-WAY & 1.5-WAY after purchase (this will also require a unit overhaul). *With the 2-WAY, the LSD is effective whether accelerating or not. *With a 1.5-WAY, the LSD is effective only during acceleration. *For R35, 1.5-WAY is not recommended due to its vehicle characteristics. Special treatment for highest-quality plates A special heat treatment developed exclusively by NISMO is applied to all of the plate surfaces. This finish eliminates catching during slippage and ensures a smooth, linear operation. It keeps the plates working in harmony when they are first broken in, guarding against plate scorching as well as any loss of initial torque. High level of control The GT L.S.D. brings you more than just strength and efficiency. It also reduces power loss from occurring during time trials and provides the solid traction needed to attain higher cornering speeds. All of this will give you better angle control when drifting. , Application: -98/9, Diff type (axle): R200V, Final ratio: 4.083 |

| Remark | Please be sure to install the LSD. Please make sure that the engine and transaxle of the current car are not changed, please order. As a general rule, special processing is unnecessary at installation (JAF numbered vehicle, N1 race vehicle regulation conformity) Unless otherwise noted, please use Nissan genuine parts with ring gear bolts and side flanges installed as standard. When installing LSD, we recommend that you replace ring gear bolts, side bearings, oil seals, gaskets, etc. with new ones. In the case of L. S. D. that comes with a mounting kit, please use that. L.S.D. After installation, cornering characteristic. Considerably change does therefore please note. In order to attach good parts around each part and each plate inside the L.SD, after mounting, traveling at an unreasonable speed at an urban area or a winding road (in case of a car with a number) of 500 to 600 km, Please do "break in". Also, please be sure to change the differential oil after "break in" (at least 200 - 300 km please go). NISMO L.S.D. has a high initial torque setting (the lock ratio is high), so dragging noise of driving wheels and chattering noise inside the differential will occur during normal cornering on high road surface. Please use NISMO COMPETITION OIL type 2189E (75W 140) (Rear L.S.D. product number: KLD75-RS421) to prevent these abnormal noise and deterioration of each plate kind. 9 If each plate wears and the L. S. D. function deteriorates, replace the deteriorated plate with a new one with an overhaul disk kit and adjust it to the standard initial torque. However, it may not be possible to adjust to the standard initial torque due to wear of the differential case and the pressure ring.10 If the initial torque is significantly increased from the standard value, it will lead to breakage of power train system parts and deterioration of handling, so please use the standard initial torque for vehicles that mainly drive general public roads. |

Can't ask for more from a 7.1 or 5.1.2 receiver
Style: Receiver, Style: Receiver
My previous Yamaha receiver was 10 ys old, and was an entry level 5.1 model (RX-V373). I accidentally fried it by putting my phone's USB connector in. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while the last few yrs but waited it out until receivers have 8k pass through (so whenever 8k becomes more of a thing I can keep this new one a bit longer). The 3773 had 4k pass through when I got it 10 yrs ago, well before 4k became as available as it is now for example, which was one reason I held out on replacing as long as I did. This time around I decided to step up into the premium Aventage line of Yamaha. It was between this & the A4A, not a huge price difference, but I would have needed to replace my entertainment center since the A4A is too deep to fit. Didn't seem worth it & now I'm really happy with my choice. My living room set up (in a condo) has 2 surrounds, to add 2 more would require building mounts on the wall (couch is against the wall with 2 surrounds on side tables) which I don't want. This has 7 channels to allow for 2 Atmos front firing speakers which I got & love how immersive it sounds. Bi-amping the front towers is an option, but that uses 2 extra channels so the Atmos front speakers can't be connected at the same time as bi-amping. I experimented with biamping & biwiring & couldn't hear any difference so I have the fronts biwired, allowing for the 2 Atmos front connections. New features/improvements from my old receiver include more power/watts, lower THD & better sound, streaming music directly from the receiver with Music Cast, and it processes Atmos & DTS audio. One key feature all the Aventage models have that the RX ones don't is the 5th foot in the middle, which was designed & tested to improve the sound with more stabilization. Aventage also has a 3 yr warranty (vs 2 for RX). The top of the line RX model looks identical in specs which I also considered but it just sounds like this 1st Aventage model is slightly better with it its parts & sound quality, and not that much more. Especially since I got the A2A on sale for 999.95 (vs the 1200 price). I actually bought this for 1150 which was a teeny mark down, and then saw Amazon put it on sale for 999.95 shortly after (about 2 weeks). Amazon customer service was great when I called about that, and they credited the difference. Back to the receiver...2 subwoofers can be connected, and an amplifier for the 2 front speakers can be connected as well through pre outs. Probably more improvements but those are the main ones. Along with this receiver upgrade, I also upgraded my subwoofer & added a Nvidia Shield Pro streamer (due to it handling Atmos & 4k upscaling of lower hd content, which my Roku Ultra cannot do). My system now includes Polk TSI 400 front towers Polk CS20 center, Polk T15 surrounds (all of these Polk speakers are from 10 yrs ago as well & still work great for me, they sound better too with this receiver). I added Klipsch R-41SA Atmos front firing speakers, and upgraded from a Polk PSW505 subwoofer to an SVS SB3000 (night & day difference with that upgrade!). Have a Roku Ultra from a few yrs ago, and the Nvidia as well now. The TV also will be upgraded at some point, but I'm perfectly content with it now (is a 7 yrs old 55 inch 4K Sony Bravia). This receiver also processes Dolby Vision which I'd need a new TV for, as well as eArc which this receiver also has. Over time I will continue adding to my set up. A decent record player is next, and a current blu ray player (the one I have is rather old & only has 1080p). Then a new TV & A 2nd sub (will get another SVS SB3000). The last & most expensive upgrade will be the rest of the speakers. From Polk to B&W most likely, but when I get to this I will compare both at the same price point as I am still very impressed with the quality of my Polks for their price point. I also plan to add an amp (Emotiva most likely) to power the fronts. Another reason I was ok with the A2A watts per channel for now (100 with 2 channels driven for music, unsure what it is at 5.1.2 but it's plenty especially with the thunder the SVS sub provides even at low volumes, and the ability to boost dialogue in addition to the center channel. I'd rather get a dedicated amp for more music power than a higher priced receiver just due to more watts. Very pricey to do all of this at once (in particular the speakers & amp), but for now I am thrilled with how much better everything sounds with these phase 1 upgrades. Highly recommend it, if you are coming from an entry level budget receiver this can pump more life into your current speakers.

Sounds fantastic and easy to operate
Style: Receiver
I used to sell home audio equipment a long time ago and I love this unit! Nice & clean look, the layout for inputs/output is standard and easy to see and the remote makes sense...well, to me it does lol. I had purchased an O***o unit because it's been good brand for a while...returned it because it was defective but I didn't care for it (you had to be a real audiophile to get into the setup and who has time for that?). The Yamaha is easy to work with and sounds fantastic. Make sure you don't go cheap on the speakers!

Great when on sale
Style: Receiver
Update: I got a new Sony X90L TV and this receiver just doesn't like that TV or something. I've had at least 4 instances where the TV said there was no signal. The receiver was on and the proper input was selected. If I hit the menu button on the receiver, I could see that. No inputs on the receiver would work. Unplugging the power from the receiver and plugging it back in fixes the problem in every case. Based on my googling, many others have similar problems.
Yamaha receivers are generally over priced I've noticed. And they seem to skimp on features, e.g. a receiver with an MSRP of $1000 doesn't have a single analog video input. I got this on sale for $650 and for that I'm quite happy. I had a Denon that I got pretty inexpensively, but I hated the Denon. Things didn't work, it was confusing, didn't sound all that good and didn't do HDMI input switching well. The Yamaha is a far better reliever in every way. It does cost quite a bit more but it's just so much nicer.

Modern interfaces, clean sound of Yamaha, tons of features and intelligence.

Modern interfaces, clean sound of Yamaha, tons of features and intelligence.
Purchased this to replace my amazing RX3300 (it started turning off on its own), and wasn't sure these newer generations of AV receivers would have the same clean and powerful sound, but the RX-A2A did not disappoint. Plus I am loving all of the new features and more relevant interfaces. It provides great value for the price. It is one of the few brands that kept the original sound as natural as possible (of course, there are plenty of modes to choose from for specific characteristics, but only if you choose). Perfect fit for my large family room.

Hours of my life I won’t get back.
Style: Receiver
I tried to make this system work. I REALLY did. Probably blew 10 hours trying to somehow make it work. Had to return it.
Customer Support - What customer support? Yamaha cut hours from weak 9 to only 5 hrs a day. Email/chat got no call back. It’s so bad I’m not sure Yamaha is gonna make it.
Lip sync - Impossible to fix video to sound lag.
Musiccast wireless - See lag. Also sound is tinny as hell. Also won’t stay linked.
Could not get speakers to respond to giant volume knob. Would respond to app. App was mediocre.
Tried to use with YSP-5600 sound bar which is allegedly Mussiccast. Nope.
In short, it has been a HORRIBLE experience and I really tried.
