Reproduction of White Barn Signs II Navy by Sue Schlabach
Sue Schlabach — "White Barn Signs II Navy". This work exemplifies a contemporary revival of early 20th-century American folk art and sign painting traditions, reimagined with a modern, coastal sensibility. The piece aligns with the tradition of vernacular signage, where hand-drawn lettering and simple iconography communicate function and identity, yet it departs from historical precedents through its deliberate use of a limited, modern palette and a refined, painterly technique. Compositionally, the artwork achieves a balanced asymmetry, with the large, bold lettering of "COFFEE Shop" anchoring the upper portion, while the central coffee cup and the smaller, handwritten script of "Sunrise til noon" create a visual hierarchy that guides the viewer's eye. The negative space is not merely empty but integral to the design, enhancing the sense of calm and allowing the viewer to focus on the key elements. The color palette, dominated by a deep, saturated navy against a soft, off-white background, creates a high-contrast visual that is both striking and harmonious. The technique, reminiscent of watercolor and ink wash, imparts a sense of texture and tactility, suggesting the passage of time and the hand of the artist. In its interpretation, the work transcends mere decoration, functioning as a cultural artifact that speaks to the enduring human desire for community, comfort, and the ritual of a morning coffee. It is a quiet meditation on the beauty of the everyday, rendered with a skillful blend of tradition and contemporary design sensibility. For more art by Sue Schlabach click here.

The only toy my dogs can’t destroy and love
Color: Onyx Black - Most Durable
I am thrilled to have found one toy my dogs don’t destroy immediately. They have torn up Fenrir hammers, the black kongs of all sizes, the monster k9 stick, nylabones, and they don’t like the goughnut at all (it stinks like a bad tire). This is the first one they both love and haven’t been able to destroy immediately. It does allow little tooth marks, but that’s what makes it fun for them. They are very happy playing with it and I’d say this one was worth every dollar.
Update Months Later: We’ve gone through 2/3 now. I got two initially, and one has lasted long term. They still haven’t completely destroyed it. They did destroy a second one quickly so I suspect a flaw in it. They sent me a new one and they took a while, but they did destroy the third to the point we had to throw it away. Despite that, one still remains and our dogs still love it. It’s still the best for the money compared to others. We have two Bully XL’s that are each close to 100 pounds.

Indestructible
Color: Onyx Black - Most Durable
This is actually indestrutible! Be careful though, it's wicked hard/heavy. It isn't a ball you want banging into things. Use outside!!

Not indestructible, but the best I’ve found
Color: Onyx Black - Most Durable, Color: Onyx Black - Most Durable
This thing is unexpectedly heavy for its size. My 18 month old Giant Schnauzer is obsessed with fetch but destroys every ball she gets. The other brands marketed for extreme chewers tend to last about a day or two before they’re totally shredded. She’s had this one for about 2 weeks and it’s looking rough, but still holding together for the most part. I appreciate that as it comes apart it does so in little pieces rather than large chunks. While it’s far from indestructible, it’s the strongest I’ve found so far.

Great product!
Color: Onyx Black - Most Durable
Great product! Quickly became my Pit Princess's favorite toy! The size, weight, and material is perfect for a big dog. Now we have fetch ball that has proven itself to be worthy!
