VALVE video games and IPECAC RECORDINGS have a part-nership that dates back almost 15 years when we released the PORTAL 2 soundtracks. Since then, there's been releases of some of the biggest video game soundtracks out there including TEAM FORTRESS 2, DOTA 2 and the entire HALF-LIFE series. These have been some of Ipecac best selling physical and digital releases on the label.

HALF-LIFE: ALYX was originally released digitally as a series of 11 chapters from 2020-2022, and the physical release brings those together in two different formats:
4CD fold-out digipak featuring all 72 songs from the series
2LP Gatefold 180gr Vinyl featuring 21 songs selected by the composer, as well as a download card with all 72 songs. There's a different cover, than the CD, plus a 24x36 fold-out poster. The Standard variant is Black with Orange Splatter and the Indie Store variant is Orange with Black Splatter.

The HL:A game itself has sold over 2MM copies since 2020 and had added to the Half-Life series of games that has sold over 30MM copies.

These bracelets work but with caveats. I got them because sometimes I want to take quick walks outside, but don't want to put on sticky big spray and have to shower 2x a day because of the spray. Enter these bracelets. 1st caveat: they fairly quickly decrease in efficacy, which makes me feel guilty for creating so much non compostable/recyclable waste relatively quickly. I have a neighbor with a swampy pool that causes a bunch of mosquitos in the neighborhood in the summer. Without the bracelets, I got 14 bites when going outside for 1 hour. With the bracelets (1st wear and one per limb), I got none. 2nd caveat: I have found that I need 1 bracelet per limb in order to avoid bites. For a nighttime Joshua tree stargazing outing with a friend, we each only put one on and both got bit up like crazy. Later, I gave the bracelets another chance. I put one on each elbow and one on each knee. Wore them and then put them back in the pouches for later use. No bites. Used them a 2nd and 3rd time with no bites, but got 4 bites today with the 4th use, which indicates they're at their effective end of life at around 3 or 4 wears. Overall, they work if you make sure you have a little citronella bubble around you by putting one on each limb, but they generate a relatively large amount of waste for the amount of protection they provide, and the protection itself can be spotty. If your only goal is to not use chemical spray on your skin, these bracelets meet it. If your goal is solely to not get bit, spray might be a better choice.
