Fantagraphics is embarking on a project to reprint Marvel Comics' 1950s genre titles - war, crime, supernatural, funny animal, Western - under its new Atlas series with the first eight issues of the pre-Code horror series Adventures Into Terror. Atlas holds a special place among aficionados of the genre, producing more horror titles and issues by far, than anyone in the industry. While the quality of E.C.'s six horror/sci-fi titles was unsurpassed with their elite cadre of talent, Atlas was the equivalent of the B-movies studio, churning out anywhere from 8 to 12 different horror titles a month, giving a wider array of artists, including some of the best craftsmen of the era, a chance to show off their talents: in addition to those already mentioned, future volumes will include works by Bill Everett, John Romita, Bernie Krigstein, Jerry Robinson, Harry Anderson, and Matt Fox. Stories from Marvel's Atlas line have barely been reprinted. The Fantagraphics Atlas Comics Library is the first attempt to publish a carefully curated line of Atlas titles. Our first volume, Adventures Into Terror, includes a treasure trove of stories drawn by many of the most stylistically accomplished artists of the Golden Age including George Tuska, Carl Burgos, Mike Sekowsky, Joe Maneely, Basil Wolverton, and Joe Sinnott. Highlights include Russ Heath's twopart story "The Brain" from issue #4 and "Return of the Brain" from issue #6; Basil Wolverton's classic "Where Monsters Dwell" from issue #7; Gene Colan's moody "House of Horror" in issue #3; and Don Rico's wild layouts are on display from #4's "The Torture Room." The stories are written firmly in the tradition of the pulpy, perverse, borderline deranged style that brought Fredric Wertham, the United States Senate Sub-Committee, and public opinion down like a sledgehammer on comics in the early '50s.Shipping Notes

Very pretty, has a bit of a smell
Only docking this item one star because of the smell. It's genuine sheepskin so it definitely smells like.... sheep. I've never bought genuine sheepskin before so I'm not sure if that's always the case. I think after it airs out for a while it should be fine, but it was a little off-putting for me at first.
Besides that though it looks BEAUTIFUL. I bought it to cover up some dog claw marks on the center console since I got my car used. It covers them up, and also makes my car look fancier. I think it should last a long time as long as I make sure to not spill anything on it.
Overall, it seems very well made, is super soft and comfortable, was good value, fit really well on the center console (I have a Subaru Forester), and it was totally worth getting.

fits 2013 honda civic, fades to a weird blue and looks matted scruffy
Fluffy and cute! This is all I hoped it would be. It is a piece of real sheepskin with a couple of pieces of elastic sewn to the bottom to attach it to the console cover. This makes it somewhat versatile concerning fit. It is just long enough for the console in my Honda Civic, which I believe is about 11 3/4 x 6 inches. The fluffiness of the cover allows for some slack in coverage, so it does adequately cover my console. I was pleased to see that I actually got the long-haired one. I am very pleased with the product. If it hadn't worked in the car I might have kept it in the house to pet it!
Update: Over a few months the silver fur, which I thought was a natural wool color, has faded to a washed out pale aqua, and this looks very scruffy. The elastic bands that hold it in place over the console show now that it is less fluffy. I will probably wash it and see whether that will improve the situation, but I suspect this will renew the curl, and leave the band exposed. I have downgraded this to a 3 from a 5.
Further update: This looks terrible. Very scruffy, slides around. I did wash it, but it did this did not renew or make it look like natural sheepskin. Whatever processing and dying they did not this seems to have removed the natural curl. I would have preferred no dye and processing, and a natural piece of sheepskin, probably bigger to account for getting matted and smaller as it ages. Note: This one is bigger than some of these on Amazon, so measure your console and consider the size. This one barely fit when it was new.

Love it !!
Color: Black
I have own sheepskin covers and this armrest cover didn’t disappoint. I bought this for a friend and she loved it. Soft and keeps its fur like shape. The fur did not clump after being used. I would definitely recommend.
