It spans her frantic child-rearing, misfires in the workplace, and frustratingexperiences with the medical system.
In one strip, the author and her daughter Xia have itchy scalps. Roberts asks her husband to check her hair and all she gets is the cursory remark that he just sees a bunch of bugs." In another, Xia describes her oddly shaped poop in precise detail. We then see Xia sitting at the breakfast table telling the family that she recently learned the word "nuisance" and everyone agrees it's a good word for her to know. As Xia grows from toddler to big kid, the family evolves and its dynamics shift in subtle ways, changes that pass all too suddenly in real life captured forever with Roberts's keen observational humour.
The Joy of Quitting is Roberts' magnum opus of domestic comedy, highlighting how she continues to work within and expand the rich tradition of autobiographical comics. Again and again, Roberts shows us that most meaningful moments or gestures often don't have any meaning at all.

Great product 😎
Im very picky about what products I use , but ever since using this one I really like the way it feels cool on the skin. I would recommend buying this especially if you have Eczema or just looking for something to apply for daily use .

Burns
Maybe once you get your eczema under control with some other product, you can use this for maintenance, but it's an absolute misery if you have a bad outbreak of eczema. I have no idea why this thing has alcohol in it but it burns like a star when you put it on severely irritated skin.
Note: I originally gave this 3 stars, but Eczema Honey reached out to me to offer a refund. I didn't take it, but I appreciated that they *would* do that. Plus, my acute outbreak has subsided and it's perfectly fine to use now, so just be warned it hurts to apply if you have an active eczema flareup!

Absolutely worth the money!!
I'm 38 and I've never had eczema but I did always have sensitive skin. About a week ago I noticed a dry patch under my eyelid and boy did it flare up very quickly. I tried several plant based products for eczema but it just burned. I decided this product would be my final purchase before going to urgent care.
I received this product 2 days ago. After reading the reviews I decided to slowly add this to my skin. Now it did burn on the part that was super worse than the other so I made sure to put very thin amounts till my skin could handle a thick application. Id say I put the cream on about 6times the first day by the next day I could already see the difference the swelling and redness went away. The second day I did the same no more slight burning my skin is still dry but it is healing.
I would definitely give it a try if you're experiencing eczema for your first time!

Itch-Free Face :)
This cream made a difference day one! It soothed the skin around my eyes and eyelids plus on my face. I forgot to wash my face one night and my skin was still outbreak free and felt so smooth. I haven't had itchy skin since I started using this cream. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Ouch! I paid WHAT for this?
This "eczema cream" contains alcohol. It says you can use it on your face and body. I applied the cream to my face and it burned my eyes. I then read that the ingredients contain alcohol. It did NOT help with my eczema at all. Everyone's skin is different, but I personally was very disappointed especially at $20 for 2oz. that the product ingredients were not soothing, burned my eyes, and dried out my skin more than it already was.
