Grain is interlocked and coarse textured. Turns well, but a sharp edge is recommended. Finishes to a high luster. Common uses include cabinet work, inlay and small decorative items, carving, turnings. Slab measures 2 3 8" x 15" + x 48" and has been surfaced both sides. My dog managed to pop this and completely chew through it in a matter of 4 days. It was definitely cute and she loved the size of it but with her chewing all the way to the core we have to get rid of it. I thought it was a good material but I guess I was wrong. Kind of sad considering the money spent only lasted 4 days

Great dog toy

The amount of stupid and cute these dogs look like when they shake this ball and smack their own faces! It took a hot second for either dog to understand where to bite on the ball, but now that they do, they both will play with it for a while. Great purchase, came with a pump to blow the ball up.

Great toy to play fetch with the dogs.

These balls are a great dog toy to play fetch with your dogs. This not the first ball I have gotten for the dogs. Just the right size and weight for medium sized dogs. I have less concerns about them possibly choking on these soccer balls versus tennis balls. So I can leave them out for them to play with. The are easy to inflate using the included pump. My only concern is the durability of the straps as my dogs have almost torn off one the straps of the previous ball I purchased.
