Description: 

The original Timber® became a favorite among pilots for its impressive Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) performance, sporty handling, and forgiving flight characteristics. While it appealed to pilots of nearly every skill level, many wanted a version capable of more aggressive aerobatics. The E-flite® Timber X 1.2m answers that call by blending the proven STOL performance of the Timber with a redesigned wing, oversized control surfaces, and a more powerful 3S–4S compatible power system—resulting in true 3D aerobatic capability.

Designed from the highly successful Timber 1.5m platform, the Timber X 1.2m features a new wing layout with enlarged ailerons and flaps, along with a larger rudder and elevator, delivering a dramatically expanded flight envelope. From slow, controlled STOL approaches to wild, high-energy aerobatics, this aircraft offers a true “mild-to-wild” flying experience.

The hollow-core, composite-reinforced EPO airframe provides exceptional strength while keeping weight low, allowing the model to withstand extreme maneuvers without sacrificing slow-speed handling. Factory-installed high-torque, metal-geared servos ensure precise and reliable control, while the shock-absorbing landing gear with oversized tundra-style wheels enables aggressive operations from grass, dirt, or rough terrain. Optional clip-on leading-edge slats improve low-speed performance, and optional EDO-style floats (sold separately) allow for water takeoffs and landings. With functional LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights included, the Timber X 1.2m delivers versatility and excitement that pilots at many experience levels will enjoy.
