Description: 

A 1973 Burny Les Paul TV Model FTV-70; a fantastic copy of a '50's Les Paul Junior double cut model. These were meticulous replica's of Gibson classics made in Japan's famed Terada factory. Features all mahogany construction, single dogear P90 and a thick/beefy 58 type neck. Body is in overall good condition but has some discoloration on the back side possibly from a sticker or tape that was on there, otherwise body is very clean with only very light surface marks and wear. neck and headstock are in excellent condition with no notable blemishes. Fretboard is very clean and frets nearly no wear. Hardware is fully functional and very clean for its age showing only very minor aging and pitting. Electronics work perfectly and pickup sounds fantastic. Overall  a very clean and really great feeling DC junior that is great shape for its age. Has been fully inspected and set up by our shop tech. Includes original hard case.

Very well built.
Well build. Very solid for the price. I used #1 AWG cable. I don't like the pinch bolt connection. It tries to drill through the cable, and spreads the strands. Only about 2/3rds are pinched under the knurled bolt tip. I'll keep an eye on it, and if the connection heats up, I'll pull apart, straighten the strands, and tin the ends with solder so they don't crush much. See how that works. A concave, half circle piece under the pinch bolt would be better IMO. That would keep strands together as they crushed down.
