This kit contains:

1 x Brass Nickel-Plated Butterfly Valve 1" BSPF (BRVALVEBIB1BSPF-F)
1 x Geka Type Claw Brass - 1" BSPM (GK1BSPM)
1 x Brass Straight Joiner 32mm - 1" BSPM (BRSTR32B-1BSPM)

The Brass Nickel Plated Butterfly Valve with BSP Female Thread combines durability and functionality in a sleek, robust design. Crafted from high-quality nickel-plated brass, this valve is engineered to withstand rigorous conditions. The nickel plating not only enhances its resistance to corrosion and wear but also provides a polished, professional finish that complements various plumbing systems. This butterfly valve features a straightforward turn on/off control handle, making it incredibly easy to operate. The handle's simple mechanism ensures precise control over fluid flow with minimal effort, ideal for both experienced professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Its user-friendly design reduces the risk of operational errors and provides a reliable shut-off option in various applications.

Geka type connectors, often referred to as "Geka type couplings" or "claw couplings," are robust, durable hose fittings widely used in various industrial, agricultural, and construction applications for connecting hoses and pipes. These connectors are renowned for their simplicity, efficiency, and secure sealing capabilities. The claw coupling benefits from a universal design which features symmetrical claws (or lugs) that interlock, allowing for a quick and easy connection. This universal design ensures compatibility across different hoses and pipes, regardless of the manufacturer. Furthermore, Geka type connectors are made from high-quality brass which has good corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments. Geka style fittings are designed for quick and tool-free assembly and disassembly. Users can connect hoses with a simple twist, making the process fast and reducing downtime. Equipped with high-quality rubber seals, Geka connectors provide a watertight and airtight seal, preventing leaks and ensuring efficient fluid transfer.

The brass straight joiner fitting is an essential component for various plumbing and industrial applications, designed to provide a reliable connection between hose pipes and threaded fixtures. One end of this fitting features a barbed design, ensuring a secure grip on the hose pipe, preventing leaks and disconnections under pressure. The barbed end is specifically engineered to create a tight seal when the hose is attached, making it ideal for both low and high-pressure applications. On the other end of the fitting, a British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread allows for easy and consistent connection to a wide range of compatible threaded fixtures. Constructed from high-quality brass, this fitting is not only strong but also highly durable, capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions and heavy use. Brass offers excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, and impact, ensuring a long service life even in demanding applications.

a great guide to DC treasures
Format: Flexibound
This is not a guide book in terms of giving you directions and hours of operation, but it would be a wonderful first step in planning a memorable trip to the nation's capitol. Nineteen themed trails are given, seven in and around the Mall, six nearby, two across the Potomac and two farther afield. Themes include animals (Rock Creek Park, National Zoo, the George Washington University hippo (statue), the National Museum of Natural History, Owney the stuffed dog at the National Postal Museum, Oxon Hill Farm, Kingman Island and the Franciscan Monastery and National Cathedral -- and a blurb about presidential pets), statuary, music, food, horticulture, power, sports, ghosts, architecture, literature, transportation etc. As you can tell these aren't walking tours. Instead each theme gets four pages filled with photos, drawings, fun facts and information about festivals, artifacts, history and spectacle. I try to get to WDC once or twice a year, yet I still found plenty of interesting ideas for further exploration. If you are planning a visit (with or without kids),this would be agreat way to help them choose a few things they'd like to see. Information is presented in a friendly way but is not dumbed down. There is an adequate, if incomplete, index. It would be useful to have a calendar of all the events listed too.
