For more than 90 years the Beutler name has been synonymous with professional rodeo livestock, colorful shows, and first-class productions.  Brothers Elra, Jake, and Lynn Beutler began this long, successful journey in September 1929, when they trailed ten horses to the Custer County Fair Rodeo in Clinton, Oklahoma, and decided that this would be their life’s endeavor. Five generations later, the Beutler name remains the most respected in the rodeo livestock contractor business.

With unmatched professionalism, a keen business sense, and skillful handling of rough stock, the brothers produced some of the most popular rodeos across the United States. They grew their herd, controlled the livestock-contracting business in Oklahoma, and became the most prominent in the national rodeo circuit. They also were known for incorporating celebrities, including television actors, movie stars, and singers, into their productions.

By the 1950s, the brothers were the largest stock contractor in the country. They were producing the most well-known and respected events, including Cheyenne [Wyoming] Frontier Days; Snake River Stampeded in Nampa, Idaho; Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in Colorado Springs Colorado; New Mexico State Fair Rodeo in Albuquerque, New Mexico; National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver, Colorado; and the Oklahoma State Fair Rodeo in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The brothers also were instrumental in forming the first National Finals Rodeo in Dallas, Texas, in 1959.

Known for their good eye for bad bulls and broncs, the Beutler stable was revered. Old Spec, a spotted, cross-bred Brahma bull, was only ridden seven times in more than 350 attempts. Their Palomino gelding Descent claimed the title “Bucking Horse of the Year” a record six times. According to rodeo authorities, "Beutlers' stock was a cowboy's nightmare."

Five generations later, operated as Beutler & Son Rodeo Company, the family continues the tradition of award-winning livestock sought out by cowboys, rodeo committees, and fans and annually provides quality livestock to the National Finals Rodeo.

My 30 pound 7 month old puppy was tearing it apart.
Size: Jumbo, Style: Chicken, Size: Jumbo, Style: Chicken
I gave little Charlee back the bone for a size comparison. She's trying to rip off a piece that she chewed loose. This puppy is only 30 pounds and 7 months old. The bone is clearly rated for puppies up to 8 months old and 60 pounds. It is rated for dogs twice her weight and she was trying to pull chunks off of it. When she grows up she'll still be within the weight limit. There is a lot more damage than pictured and she may have eaten a couple of missing spikes. She is a strong and mildly destructive chewer, but this is unacceptable. I have a smaller version of this bone without the spikes and it has lasted months of gnawing, so I expected that quality to carry over to it's larger cousin. This was a big disappointment.

Very durable; aggressive chewer approves
Size: Jumbo, Style: Chicken
My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer so finding a toy that can survive more than a few days is never easy. This bone has done well for the last couple months. It’s a little bit larger and heavier than I was expecting but isn’t a problem for my German shepherd. It smells fine; at least it isn’t stinky. We play fetch and tug with this toy and there is very little wear and tear and only shows teeth marks. She will sit and chew on the toy for quite a while and seems content while chewing on it. Great tog

Helps With Teeth Cleaning
Size: Small, Style: Beef
Our dog loves chewing on this toy multiple times a day. I believe it helps with teeth cleaning. As we do not brush or add additives to water or food for teeth cleaning. Seems that vet is not suggesting to have teeth cleaned every visit anymore. The rubber is very durable. Last about 6 to 7 months before we start to see deterioration and have to replace.
