When superstars meet, this is what happens! adidas Originals continues the 50th birthday celebrations for one of its most iconic silhouettes, the Superstar. Teaming up with the multidisciplinary creative, Jonah Hill, adidas Originals gave him the opportunity to put his spin on the classic. 

Inspired by his US west coast upbringing in the 1990’s, Hill said of the design process, “I started thinking back to all the experiences I had growing up while wearing them, and tried to make my fantasy version of what I would have wanted when I first wore them.” The result? Sleek, sophisticated lines that lend to the sneaker itself, coupled with personal touches and a set of fat laces that express Jonah’s vibe and punk love. The full grain leather upper is just lovely and the addition of ‘JH’, ‘Superstar’ and a lion head on the inside of the tongue (a nod to one of his tattoos) all hand drawn by Hill really make this release unique.
