What is the difference between the fold-over tap and the Accuseal tap?

Both are drainage taps on SUR-FIT Natura urostomy pouches, but they work differently. The fold-over (bendable) tap on this pouch is a flexible tube-like outlet that folds and tucks flat against the pouch between empties — no protrusion, no rigid valve. To drain, unfold and direct. It connects to night drainage tubing via the included universal adapters. The Accuseal tap (on SKU 401542–401546 and 401551–401555) is a rigid push-pull valved tap that clicks open and closed — faster to operate one-handed and some patients find it easier to manipulate. Both permit night drainage connection. The choice is personal preference — if you currently use fold-over taps and are reordering, stay with fold-over. If dexterity is a concern, the Accuseal valve may be easier to operate.

What is the difference between this transparent pouch and the opaque Accuseal version (SKU 401547–401550)?

Two differences. First, tap type: this pouch has a fold-over tap; SKU 401547–401550 has an Accuseal valved tap. Second, film: this pouch is transparent; SKU 401547–401550 is opaque. Transparent film lets you see the stoma and urine output without removing the pouch — useful for stoma health monitoring. Opaque film provides more privacy. Both are 9" pouches with one-sided comfort panel and anti-reflux valve. If you want transparent film with a fold-over tap, this is the correct product.

How do I connect the fold-over tap to a night drainage bag?

Unfold the tap and insert one of the included universal night drainage adapters into the tap outlet. Connect the night drainage bag tubing to the adapter and position the night bag below the pouch level for passive gravity drainage overnight. Two adapters are included per box. Clean between uses and replace if cracked or no longer sealing.
