MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS DS1881E-050+ Non Volatile Digital Potentiometer, Configurable, 45 kohm, Dual, I2C, Log (Audio), ± 20%, 4.5 VThe DS1881E 050+ is a dual, non volatile (NV) audio taper digital potentiometer in 16 pin TSSOP package. This device is a log taper potentiometer which is designed to operate in audio systems that require 5V signal levels. The potentiometer settings can be stored in EEPROM so that they are retained when the power is cycled. DS1881 has separate supplies for the potentiometers (VCC) and the communication circuitry (VDD). For clickless popless operation,
- Supply voltage range is 4.5V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- I²C compatible serial interface
- Operates with 64 positions with 1dB attenuation per step
- Two attenuation configuration options provide optimum flexibility
- End to end resistance is 45Kohm at ±20% tolerance and temperature coefficient is 300ppm/°C
- Low THD+N and crosstalk
- Potentiometer settings configurable as non-volatile or volatile
- Three address pins allow up to 8 devices on I²C bus
