Visconti’s latest launch, the Homo Sapiens Tuscan Hills, is inspired by the lush rolling hills and high mountain peaks of Italy's Tuscany region. This newest addition to Visconti’s Homo Sapiens demonstrator series features a semi-transparent body containing shades of green and brown swirls- representing the beautiful landscape that is the Tuscan countryside. The green and brown ribbons on the body of the pen reflect the many colors of the enchanting Tuscan landscape and the play of shadows created on the ground by the orderly rows of cypress trees. All trims are crafted in 925 sterling silver.
The fountain pen is enhanced with Visconti's in-house 18kt gold nib, available in EF, F, M, B, and Stub widths. The fountain pen features Visconti's patented Double Reservoir Power Filler, a unique filling system that allows a greater ink capacity and safe usage during air travel.
Available as a fountain pen or rollerball, the collection is limited to 888 pieces. The Tuscan Hills is presented in a beautifully crafted limited edition box.

'In-house' 18kt Gold Nib
The new in-house, 18kt gold oversized nib has been engraved with a more contemporary design, but in keeping with tradition Visconti continue with a crescent moon shaped breather hole, a distinctive feature of Visconti's precious nibs. Each nib is hand polished and entirely made in-house: The nib, feed and housing; consequently the entire pen is produced in Florence. Each nib is plated in black ruthenium to match the color of the pens trim. Available in EF, F, M, B, and Stub widths.

Double Reservoir: The Crystal Dream has Visconti's patented 'double reservoir' power filler, a vacuum filling system that is easy to use and has considerable benefits. The user is able to fill the pen with the equivalent of 10 cartridges of ink, and thanks to the two reservoirs, prevents ink from leaking during air travel.

Simply an excellent shirt. The fabric feels soft to the skin, and is an ideal shirt in cool to colder weather. The fabric breathes nicely and does not make you sweat. I washed it in cold water, and dried it in an electric dryer at an ultra-low setting for 30 minutes and it came out perfect. No iron needed. No shrinkage. The label tells you not to dry the shirt in a dryer. I had no problems drying this shirt at the ultra-low setting! The fabric is 65% polyester, 30% viscose, 5% spandex. I bought 2 more of these excellent shirts.
