A felt storage basket for the eight squeaky toys, three half-chewed ropes and one inexplicable rubber chicken currently scattered across your lounge floor.

ToyNest™ is a soft-sided felt basket with two solid wooden carry handles. It sits next to the sofa, under the console table or beside your dog's bed, and gives the toy collection somewhere to actually live. The neutral grey reads grown-up — not a primary-coloured plastic kids' bin pretending to be décor — and the wooden handles let you lift the whole lot when you need the floor back.

At a glance

  • Soft-sided felt construction in neutral grey
  • Solid wooden carry handles — sturdy, lift the lot in one go
  • Approx. 38 × 25 × 18 cm — fits standard-size toy collections
  • Rectangular footprint — slides under console tables, between sofa and wall
  • Open-top design — at-a-glance access for your dog (and you)
  • Lightweight, foldable when empty for storage or travel
  • Free worldwide delivery, fully tracked

Honest bit. ToyNest™ is a soft-sided felt basket — built for plush toys, ropes, balls, soft bones, the everyday collection. It's not a heavy-duty crate for stacked antlers or hard chews that'll poke through the side. If your dog's toy box is mostly hard rubber and bone, this isn't your basket. If it's mostly squeaky and soft and there's far too much of it, you've found the right product.

Who it's for

ToyNest™ earns its keep in three households:

  • Design-led adult homes. You've spent on the sofa, the rug and the lamp. You're not putting a Fisher-Price toy box next to them. Felt and wood reads grown-up — it disappears into the room instead of fighting with it.
  • New-puppy households. Toys arrive faster than you can throw them. Aunties bring them. The pet shop run gets out of hand. ToyNest™ is the answer to "where do these go?" for the first six months — and the next six years.
  • Multi-dog homes. Two dogs means roughly four times the toys (the maths doesn't work, but the floor does). One basket, one location, fewer 7am squeak-toy underfoot incidents.

Length 38 cm (15") A little wider than an A3 sheet
Width 25 cm (10") Slides between sofa and wall
Height 18 cm (7") Low enough for a small dog to dip in

Approximate dimensions — felt construction means a centimetre of give in each direction.

FAQs

How many toys does it hold?

For an average mid-size dog's collection — about 8–12 plush toys, 4–5 rope tugs, a handful of balls, a soft bone or two — comfortably. If your dog is the kind whose toy collection has its own postcode, you may want a second one for "the upstairs toys."

What's it made of?

Soft pressed felt with solid wooden carry handles. The felt is firm enough to hold its shape when full, soft enough to fold flat when empty. The wooden handles are sanded smooth — no splinters near small hands or noses.

Will it sag when full?

Felt has give. Loaded with a sensible everyday toy collection — plush, rope, balls, soft bones — it holds its shape well. If you fill it with stacked antlers and cast-iron weights, physics will win. For the use case it's designed for, it's reliably sturdy.

How do I clean it?

Spot-clean with a damp cloth as needed. Lint-roll for hair (felt does pick up fur — that's the trade-off for the soft texture). Don't machine-wash — the felt and wooden handles won't survive a tumble cycle. Empty and shake out monthly.

Will my dog chew it?

Most dogs treat the basket as part of the furniture and leave it alone — they're interested in what's inside, not the container. Persistent chewers might investigate. If yours is the kind that systematically destroys soft furnishings, place the basket out of reach when they're unsupervised, or pick a more chew-resistant storage option.

Is it suitable as a gift?

Yes — and one of our most-bought-as-a-gift items. Pop a few new toys inside, tie a ribbon round the handles, done. Reliably lands well as a new-puppy welcome gift, a dog-lover birthday present, or a Secret Santa for the colleague whose phone wallpaper is their dog.

Can I use it for things other than dog toys?

The "Dog Toys" lettering on the front is part of the design — so it'll always read as a dog-toy basket. Most buyers genuinely want it that way. If you'd prefer a plain-fronted version for general household storage, drop us a line and we'll let you know if a blank version is available in the next batch.

good toys but better for gentle / non aggressive teethers
Color: Blue
cute but not very durable. better for dogs who are not aggressive chewers even though they are young pups. when they are broken apart by teeth, the pieces are at least clean cuts. no big concerns of ingestion

Cute set for my 2-1/2 pound chihuahua puppy, and this set would also make a great gift
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
First off, I like how each piece is individually wrapped and then placed all together in a plastic bag. While it's not in a gift box, I feel like this would still make a really cute gift (that shows up in good shape, too.) For the current price of under ten bucks, this feels like a really great value for five cute toys. My chihuahua puppy is only 2-1/2 pounds, so some of these are a bit larger for her, but that's to be expected at her tiny size, and it doesn't stop her from enjoying them. These feel really sturdy to me for smaller dogs to chew on. I personally love the added "ribbons" because I think they're adorable and because my dog loves things like that. They really get her to engage with toys even more. while also giving me another way to interact with them more as I play with her. I could see how those fabric pieces may wear down over time for a larger dog, but I think it depends on how much a dog focuses on chewing on those pieces. Fortunately, the plastic toys will still be cute without those fabric pieces if anything happens to them. Unfortunately, the plastic pieces have a very slight odor. I'm super sensitive to smells, so you may not notice it at all. It's certainly not as bad as so many other plastic items, and it came right off when I washed it in dish soap (which I would do before giving these to my pup anyways.) I hope your small dog enjoys these as much as we do, and I hope you find this review helpful!

My dog wasn’t interested in these
Color: Pink
I have a 10 pound adult Maltese/Yorkie mix and she was not interested in these toys at all. They are solid construction and very firm. They have lots of bumps, humps and ridges that would likely feel good to a teething puppy. They look great but I’m not sure why they put ribbons on some of them. The ribbons would be quickly shredded with a game of tug-o-war with my dog. I deducted one point for usefulness.

doggy toy chicken leg
Color: Yellow - Fried Chicken Leg
I bought this chicken leg toy for my dog and it quickly became one of his favorites. The yellow top part has two different sections — the very top makes a crinkly sound like paper when he bites it, and the middle squeaks when he chews or presses on it, which really keeps him interested. The white bottom part is super soft and easy for me to hold, so it’s great for playing tug or just interacting with him. The size is perfect for small dogs, but it might feel a bit small for larger breeds — that said, the material quality is really nice. Overall, it feels well made, fun, and keeps my dog entertained without getting bored. Definitely a good buy.
