Extra fine blanched almond flour is flour made from almonds with the almond skin removed (which is called blanching). Blanched almond flour has a white color and smoother texture than unblanched almond flour. Since blanched almond flour has the almond skin removed, it has a lighter weight than blanched almond flour.
