In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2026, the A6 Cover will not be sold separately. It will be bundled with the 2026 Hobonichi Techo A6 English Original Book.

This planner also includes a Pocket-sized A6 Cover:

Inspired by the magnificent twinkling stars in the sky above, this cover features multicolored, embroidered dots. This color scheme was created specifically to be featured on this Hobonichi Techo cover. A cotton fabric that is soft to the touch and two different types of embroidery thread were used. The “butterfly-stopper” pen holder as well as the cover interior are a vivid yellow.
