Description:
We have a special one for you today - a 1983 Fender Telecaster '52 Reissue JVTL52-95 in excellent condition. Produced in the second year of the Fender Japan production, the JV (Japanese Vintage) line were produced for the domestic Japan market and only made for 2 years (82 -84). Neck is dated September 1982, body is dated January 1983, and pot codes date 1982. These were and are top quality instruments with lots of attention to detail. Every bit is vintage correct. This one is all original and in excellent condition. The body features a lacquer finish and shows some surface marks on the back side and some very small dings / chips in the finish along the edges but is overall in very good condition with no major issues. The neck is in great shape and features a soft v profile. Headstock is clean. Fretboard is in good condition. Frets show some wear but have no issues with fretting out or buzzing. Hardware shows some aging but is fully functional. Ashtray bridge cover is included. Electronics work great and feature a killer set of USA Fender (original Fullerton factory) pickups. A rare and beautiful Telecaster in excellent, all original condition. Has been fully inspected and set up by our techs. Includes Brand new fender reissue hard case.

Does not come with a pump.

The Good: Changing the fluid in the lower unit is a very easy DIY job. This can save you hundreds of dollars each year by doing it yourself.
The Bad: You need a special pump to change the oil, and sometimes it comes with the gear lube. Unfortunately this product did not come with it. Luckily my neighbor had an extra one from changing the lube a different boat laying around and was able to use that.
The Ugly: If you have to go get the pump, that could cost a few extra dollar but is just an extra nuisance. The pumps are interchangable but you just need to clean it between uses (DON'T MIX DIFFERENT OIL BRANDS)

Good for the $$$
Worked great on my Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2. Once the bottom unit of the outdrive is off and cleaned it only takes a few minutes to install impeller, seals and housing. A very affordable alternative to taking it to the shop.
