The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), number of amp hours (charge or discharge), the batteries state of charge and the time to charge or discharge.

Clipper BM-2 Battery Monitor

The BM-2 is designed to monitor performance of 12 volt lead acid battery systems with capacities of up to 600 Amp hours. It is supplied complete with a precision 200 AMP shunt and a prefabricated cable assembly to enable simple DIY installation. The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), number of amp/hours (charge or discharge), the batteries state of charge and the time to charge or discharge. This information leads to more efficient use of the battery, which can enhance battery life and reduce the risk of failure.

Cables Supplied:


  • 200 Amp shunt link to M8 Ring terminal.
  • 5 meter from display unit to battery - fused and fitted with ring terminals for shunt, fuse holder, and M8 ring terminal to battery.

Display Unit:


  • Standard 110m squre clipper case. High contrast LCD, backlit for night viewing.
  • Minimum voltage visual alarm
  • Simple operation: 4 keys to select backlight, Volt/Amp/State of charge screen, AMP hours or time to run.

~ Recommend if you have a dog who: is a heavy chewer/tugger, loves to chase squirrely things (it can have a wacky roll to it, which my dog thinks is so fun), gets their toys dirty or slobbery. My pup is 65 pound pitty mix - i'd definitely say this is for big dogs. Maybe medium (45+ pounds, ish?). Atlas isn't usually a super heavy chewer, but with this toy she is. Not only does she love to play with it, she will even bring it to her bed to comfort chew (i think she likes the pressure on her back teeth... this rubbery material is SUPER sturdy but also has a little bit of "give" so I don't worry at all about her teeth). She loves to chase it / catch it on the roll. She brings it to me on the daily for play. Its good for tug, chase, or fetch. Perfect for the beach or any environment, really, as it's super easy to clean... so it comes with us everywhere. We will probably have this toy forever... there's not a single puncture mark yet. So, for me worth the cost 10x over.
