These LOWA boots are EN ISO 20347 certified and are classified as occupational footwear. This means that at the very least they can be expected to offer a reasonable degree of protection against oil, water, and penetrative forces. Occupational footwear such as these also provide a degree of anti-static resistance and come with shock-absorbing heels as standard. In addition to these basic qualities, wearers of these LOWA Combat Boots benefit from a Vibram® "Tsavo” outsole and GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane.
Made with a self-cleaning profile to help maximise grip, the Vibram® Tsavo’s cushioned midsole and undercut heel work to keep aches, pains, and fatigue away. Meanwhile, the GORE-TEX® lining prevents the effects of external hazards - such as wind, water, and snow - from reaching the wearer’s feet and affecting their ability to perform.
