This book is a gallery of more than two hundred photographs, including a colour section, featuring a selection of Great Western Railway/British Railways (Western) branch lines and similar services taken between 1900 and 1965\. The emphasis is pictorial rather than factual with the aim of using photographs provided by two transport charities as well as the author, all of which are unlikely to have appeared previously in print or on the Internet. Generally, images depict working trains surrounded by recognisable infrastructure, often with station nameboards visible. Such pictures should be of particular interest to railway modellers as well as invoking nostalgia for the older generation who were pursuing their hobby around the time the pictures were taken. Most of the branch lines covered were victims of the 1960s 'Beeching Axe', with closure to passengers or complete closure coming even earlier in some cases. Most of the services depicted are steam operated although a few GWR and BR diesel railcars/multiple units are included. I have it under the closed cell foam. It’s great. Just as great as Killmat and all the other butyl rubber products. Let me ask you to do something: look at the people who rated it 1 and 2 stars. No reviews. No pictures. Why? They don’t want to see the most budget friendly product getting sold. That’s some weak business. Rest assured you’ll be happy with this.
Why did I buy both types? Butyl rubber helps the car not be a tin can. It keeps the outside road vibrations out. Closed cell phone keeps your music in. They work best together., Kumbaya, we have unity! We can get along, even in this age in time. The closed cell foam is cheap. You’ll get it to replace the nasty cloth under your carpet. Do the knock test. It won’t help. You need this too. And truth be told, I prefer that it has no name on it. I’m not paying money so you can brand yourself on my car.
Ps: these products go on and don’t come off. Don’t mess up. It’s the same for the competitors and the closed cell foam. One shot. Do it right the first time.
I’m writing this review after I used up my first box and am getting more. Happy returning customer.

Great stuff, well made.

I was very pleased with this product. Very easy to use, flexible enough to conform to the variations of the surface (floor of the car and some side panels), and it stuck well. I topped it with a similar foam product to provide additional sound deadening. The car has not been run yet but the panels are much "quieter" when tapped on vs before with undercoating, felt and carpet. Seems well made and I expect no issues in the future.

Good inexpensive sound deadening

This stuff works great, it's easy to apply, sticky, easy to cut. 36 ft.² was enough to do the inside and outside of my doors the roof, the wheel wells and rear fenders. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than others.
