A low cut ankle sock for adults in a lovely breathable blend of 70% organic wool and 30% linen made in Germany by Hirsch Natur. With a short relaxed cuff and perfectly shaped for comfort. Excellent for gym, yoga, jogging and everyday wear. Wool feels comfortable and dry, even when you sweat.

Wool feels comfortable and dry, even when you sweat. It can absorb a lot of humidity (up to 33% of its dry weight) and doesn't feel cold or wet when damp.

Colours: Natural (unbleached), Pink Marl, Yolk Marl, Graphite *NB: the Yolk Marl socks have a slightly longer cuff than the other colours.

Biodegradability: Wool and linen fibres are 100% biodegradable. Before composting, remove the elastane threads from the cuff to dispose of separately.
Machine Washable: Yes (see our guide to washing wool)

Care: Air between uses, only wash when required, handwash or gentle machine wash max 30 degrees on wool cycle with wool wash only. All wool socks will wear through faster than socks with nylon. Darn for life long love. 

Sizing:

More about wool socks: These Hirsch natur socks are made from 70% unprocessed organic merino wool and handwashing is recommended. Best to air your socks for three days if you feel they need a wash. Hirsch Natur recommend washing every 6 weeks. Alternate with another pair so you don’t wear them continuously, they need a break! They don’t have any nylon in them so with lots of wear the wool will start to wear down and then it’s time to reinforce them or mend any holes that are starting to develop, like in days of old. Because you don’t need to wash them very often, handwashing them doesn’t take too long and will save them from washing machine mishaps.

The IVN BEST certification is only awarded to textiles made from 100% organically produced natural fibres. The certification takes into account all the environmental effects of the entire production process, from production of the fibres to the finished garment, along with high social welfare standards for all companies involved in the process.
