Solite 3mm Custom 2.0

3D Molded Natural Rubber Sole

Like all of the new 2.0 Series boots, the Solite 3mm Custom Pro 2.0 features a 3D-molded 1mm natural rubber sole, wrapping up the toes and heel for increased durability and protection against rocks, urchins, and reef. The one-piece sole design leaves no exposed gaps between sole pods, insuring extra protection and durability.

Custom-Fit 2.0 Thermofoam Sole

The patented heat-moldable 2.0 Thermofoam sole has also been completely redesigned including a more comfortable Mini-Split internal split toe. The Mini-Split is 1cm shorter than Solite's prior internal split, improving fit and comfort for a wider variety of toe shapes while still maintaining precise control. The Thermo Foam Sole is 4mm thick in the toes/heels for extra protection and 3mm elsewhere.

Thermal Rebound Lining

The Solite 3mm Custom Pro 2.0 features a unique Thermal Rebound plush, quick-dry interior lining material in the upper. This material features a thin, flexible metallic grid-layer between the neoprene and the outer lining, reflecting body heat back to the skin for enhanced warmth. Lab tests on the Thermal Rebound laminate show an increase in insulation exceeding 10%, which extends your sessions and increases your odds of getting the wave of the day.

Tatex Flex-Spine

The calf area features Solite's exclusive Tatex Flex-Spine. The Flex-Spine serves three distinct purposes:

  1. Enhances durability with an abrasion resistant rubbery surface.
  2. Reduces stretch to act like a shoe-horn, making it easier to slide your heel into the boot.
  3. Provides a sticky external surface to grab your wetsuit leg and prevent flushing.

EZ-O Cuff with Overkill Seams

Solite's EZ-O cuff design provides a seamless barrier against flushing with a larger panel than other o-ring seals, providing much easier on-off and reducing stress on the seams. To reduce bulk under the wetsuit leg and allow for easier on-off, the EZ-O panel is reduced to 2mm thickness. Since booties take serious abuse, Solite cut no corners on their neoprene seam construction. The Overkill neoprene seams are triple-glued, blind-stitched, then sealed on the exterior with liquid seam seal for maximum durability and longevity.

Reinforced Stealth-Loop

To ease on/off, Solite have integrated their low-profile Stealth-Loop in the heel. The Stealth Loop is laminated between the neoprene and the co-molded rubber/textile heel reinforcement patch, providing incredible durability and pull-strength. The Stealth Loop is also Tatex-coated for extra strength and zero-water absorption.

Split-Toe Heat-Booster Socks in the Box

The unsung hero of the Solite "System", our Knit Split-Toe Heat-Booster Socks are included in the box. Knit from a Nylon/Poly/Spandex blend, the Heat-Boosters stay warm and comfortable when wet. Benefits of the Heat Boosters are numerous:

  1. Makes boots easier on-off and reduces stress on seams.
  2. Increases comfort by providing a soft barrier between the feet and the Thermofoam sole.
  3. Adds warmth to extend session length and comfort.
  4. Absorbs excess water from flushing to prevent puddling in the boots.
  5. Absorbs bacteria to reduce bootie-stink.
  6. Machine wash and dry for convenience.

Plenty of fun for Gilbert fans!
Format: Hardcover
As in previous books in the series, Gilbert the Goblin complains about the problems he sees with Valentine's Day, what he calls 'mushy malarkey'. Young readers who don't care for the holiday will find much to relate to in the book. Although, Gilbert's complaints seem a tad trifling. Coconut chocolates are 'Blech'. He seems to have a special issue with the cupid's 'perfect', 'beautiful', and 'luxurious' hair. When Gilbert faces off with a group of cupids, he just barely manages to escape their love arrows, or so he thinks until he backs into a cactus in his own yard and believes he has been pricked by one such love arrow. He then becomes a goblin full of love. He loves his spells, his potions, even himself, but not coconut chocolates. He even welcomes his friends over to celebrate before bidding his pet sock slugs a fond goodnight. Good thing the love spell wears off. This funny book follows the pattern of the previous five books, but the addition of adorable cupids as well as Gilbert's beloved cactuses and pet sock slugs provides plenty of freshness as Gilbert once again (reluctantly) joins in the festivities. Plenty of fun for young fans of the series.

Best way to explore Paris
Format: Paperback
This book is awesome! I enjoyed reading it just as much as my kids did! I love the layout and the way that the book assigns the kids to be secret agents, but defers to the case officers (parents) for the final say. We were in Paris for 1 week and although the weather was less than cooperative, we were able to capture our 100 points and award our 4yo and 7yo their secret agent certificates. I love the fact that you can work on this book in any order and do as little or as much as you want at each attraction. The price was awesome and worth every penny. My 7yo particularly enjoyed the challenges at the Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre and it was a great way to keep those visits focused and entertaining for the kids. My 4yo was a little young to stay engaged with every "mission", but the activities were easy enough that she could help (ex. finding a winter scene in the Musee D'Orsay). I loved that this book engaged the kids but didn't detract from any of our visits (we didn't feel like we had to go "out of our way" to find anything). The only disappointment was that they didn't include Versailles and Sainte Chappelle. I have not only recommended this book to all my of friends traveling to Paris (honestly with or without kids), but I have also already purchased the similar books for London, New York, and Washington DC. Can't wait to see what other cities they add!

Afun way to see Paris as a kid
Format: Paperback
Great way to have kids really look at the sights of Paris. Encourages group or single competition to do each activity. Lots of visual clues.
