Given the state’s unique liquor laws, a brewery was unable to also sell spirits at their brewpub, unless they produced them on-site. This was the start of Leopold Bros Distillers.Todd Leopold got his diploma in Malting & Brewing from the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago. He trained in Munich, and got experience working in breweries and distilleries in Europe. His brother Scott came from the environmental engineering world.
After their experience in Ann Arbor, they moved to Denver, Colorado in the mid-2000’s. They rented a warehouse space and began distilling. Eventually they purchased property and built a brand new distillery, impressively making it a zero-waste facility, recycling all water, composting and more. This facility opened in 2014, and it allowed them to make exactly the type of spirits they wanted. They became the first distillery in Colorado to have its own malting floor and kiln. They are a total attention to detail distiller, that takes no shortcuts.
Producing a bourbon was a long term goal for the brothers. Finally we get to taste the results. This bourbon is made from a mash bill that includes 64% corn, 17% malted barely and 15% Abruzzi Heritage Rye. Open fermentation in wooden tanks with both house-cultured and indigenous yeast strains. Pot distilled and unfiltered. Aged five years in new American white oak charred barrels on earthen floors in the distillery's unheated dunnage-style bonded warehouse.

Got a lemon

Not even half of the LEDs light up upon installation. Super bummed.
Edit. Got a new one and sent the other back. Holy crap it's so much brighter than the other lights I've had. Used it duck hunting and had several comments on how bright it was. Really nice color depth to the white light. The spot and flood combo was really nice.

Solid quality. Installed for the past month now. Been through heavy rain,freezing rain and as low as 20°. No signs of condensation as of yet. Hardware mounts and sets secure, not worried about anything coming apart. Make sure to order your wiring harness.

Very bright !

I haven't had a chance to use them on the river yet. I just finished installing them.
They were easy to install and they are very bright !
My home is at the end of a cul-de-sac and with my boat parked in the garage I can light up the house on the other side of the street.
I'll need to adjust the lights when I'm on the river. The mounting hardware supplied seems like it will be an easy task.

Straightforward setup Excellent Warm sound
Style: AVR-S770H
Setup was surprisingly easy. No manual included, but a quick link to a PDF. Connection to PC, Nintendo Switch, Cable Box done in minutes. Setup Menu worked great. Bluetooth pairing to phone easy. Setup as 5.1 (waiting on 2 more speakers for 7.1 connection). Small glitch in that the speakers didn't respond or even test tone right away. Went in and out of menu a few times, and then they worked (did this once with a 2-speaker quicker setup and then did the same glitch when adding the additional speakers to the profile with the full 5.1 setup). Works with ARC well (Samsung TV that came with silly external box) and reciever connection defaults to a passthrough when not on, which is nice. Video is great and compressed audio cleanup works well. Didn't do Mic leveling yet, but the manual speaker tuning worked well at leveling things out for 5.1. I was expected a lot harder set-up and was pleasantly surprised. It's a quality product. Some folks may not like the direct DB volume adjustment but I find it handy, especially when working a little later at night, I can dial in a very exacting low volume so as not to disturb the rest of the house. Very happy with purchase.
