Six Questions Your Wine & Design Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using detailed research into the creative nightlife and DIY entertainment sector. Key assumptions, including the $760,000 year-one revenue target and the 6% royalty structure, are pre-populated and fully editable to reflect your specific territory. This tool allows you to visualize how in-studio sessions and mobile services contribute to the $157,000 first-year EBITDA.

What is the profitability trajectory?

This franchise unit reaches profitability in April 2026, just four months after launching. While Year 1 EBITDA is $157,000, it dips to $120,000 in Year 2 as the mobile unit and full staffing ramp up, eventually climbing to $300,000 by Year 5.

Maximizing Unit Margins

  • Optimize artist scheduling
  • Upsell wine and beverages
  • Increase private event volume
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required and how is it allocated?

You need significant capital to cover the $100,000 studio build-out and the $25,000 initial franchise fee. Total startup costs also include $45,000 for a mobile van conversion and $30,000 for art stations, requiring a total cash position that accounts for early operating losses.

Primary Capital Uses

  • Studio build-out: $100,000
  • Mobile unit conversion: $45,000
  • Art stations and easels: $30,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

The model projects a 4.09% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and a 4-year payback period for the initial investment. With a Return on Equity (ROE) of 0.69, the investment relies on scaling annual revenue from $760,000 to over $1.25 million to drive long-term value.

Key Investment Metrics

  • 4-year payback period
  • 4.09% IRR
  • 0.69 Return on Equity
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

The monthly break-even is achieved by April 2026, driven primarily by the need to cover $10,000 in monthly rent and $2,200 in utilities. Volume in the in-studio painting sessions is the most critical lever, as it represents the largest portion of the $760,000 year-one revenue.

Accelerating Break-Even

  • Pre-book corporate workshops
  • Minimize opening supply waste
  • Secure early local partnerships
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

The lowest cash point occurs in May 2026 with a balance of $1,006,000, indicating a need for strong liquidity during the initial ramp-up. You should maintain a cash buffer to handle the timing gap between the $100,000 build-out costs and the maturation of the private event revenue stream.

Cash Protection Strategies

  • Phase mobile unit launch
  • Negotiate rent abatement
  • Manage supply inventory tightly
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios change the outcome?

A High scenario improves the 4-year payback period by increasing the $760,000 Year 1 revenue through better local marketing. Conversely, a Low scenario may delay the April 2026 break-even if the $10,000 monthly rent isn't supported by consistent session volume and ticket sales.

Driving High-Case Results

  • Aggressive social media marketing
  • High-conversion booking software
  • Strong influencer partnerships

A Fluoride‑Free Toothpaste the Whole Family Honestly Loves
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 3), Set name: E. Orange Cream, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry Mango
We’ve been using Boka Fluoride Free Toothpaste with Nano‑Hydroxyapatite for a while now, and it has easily become a staple in our household. Finding a toothpaste that is both clean and effective and something my daughter actually enjoys using has always been a challenge, but this one truly checks every box. First, the flavors deserve special mention. We’ve tried Orange Cream and Watermelon Mint, and my daughter absolutely loves both. There’s no struggle at brushing time anymore, no complaints, no resistance. She actually looks forward to brushing her teeth, which as any parent knows, is a huge win. The flavors are fun but not overpowering, and they don’t have that harsh or medicinal taste found in many toothpastes, especially “kid-friendly” ones. From a parent’s perspective, what really sold us is the fact that Boka is fluoride‑free and made with clean ingredients. We love knowing that we’re not exposing her to unnecessary chemicals while still supporting good oral hygiene. The inclusion of nano‑hydroxyapatite gives us peace of mind as well, it feels like a modern, thoughtful alternative that aligns with what we want for our family. The toothpaste feels gentle, non‑gritty, and leaves mouths feeling smooth and clean without dryness or irritation. The texture is another pleasant surprise. It’s creamy and smooth, easy to spread on the toothbrush, and doesn’t foam excessively. Both flavors leave a fresh, clean feeling afterward without any lingering bitterness. Even as adults, we genuinely enjoy using it, which says a lot, we often find ourselves reaching for it instead of our usual toothpaste. Overall, Boka Toothpaste has made brushing easier, more enjoyable, and more reassuring for our family. My daughter loves every flavor we’ve tried, and we love knowing we’re using a product that’s clean and fluoride‑free without compromising quality. If you’re looking for a toothpaste that works for both kids and adults and one that finally ends brushing battles,, I can’t recommend this one enough.

Toddler Approved!
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I never thought I’d describe toothpaste as “fun,” but here we are... I bought this Boka strawberry mango flavor for my toddler — I figured he would enjoy this over a mint flavor because what kid enjoys a harsh, burning feeling? It smells fruity and tastes like a smoothie. We are still practicing brushing but this toothpaste helps encourage the importance of daily teeth maintenance. Also, I love that it’s fluoride-free and I am not worried if it's swallowed. It is pricier than I would prefer, but it has lasted so long that I've came to terms that it's worth the cost.

Made in America nano-hydroxyapatite Toothpaste that's Well Worth Buying.
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 3), Set name: E. Orange Cream, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry Mango
This review is pretty much the same as the one I wrote for the Boka Coco Ginger. Boka Toothpaste is just that good. I've been using the Japanese brand Apagard Premio toothpaste for a couple of years now and recently I noticed this Boka toothpaste while looking for alternatives that wold be less costly. I've been using this toothpaste since the end of May, 2025. I wish they would sell it in larger tubes. Boka Toothpaste is very mild and makes brushing your teeth better. It doesn't have that harsh mint flavor which with most toothpastes feels like it's burning your mouth. It comes in multiple flavors and when you're done brushing your teeth, there is no need to rinse your mouth as it is a safe toothpaste to use. After having used it for a few days, I decided that I will keep using the Boka brand from now on. I just wish that most stores would carry this toothpaste instead pf selling all those major brands which are full of fluoride. Did a bit of research and found that Boka Toothpaste has the same percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite as Apagard Premio which is 10%. So that means that Boka Toothpaste is just as good if not better. No Fluoride No Harsh burning Mint Flavor Safe to shallow Multiple flavors 10% nano-hydroxyapatite Keeps your teeth Strong And one thing I've noticed is nano-hydroxyapatite makes your teeth less sensitive by rebuilding your tooth enamel I ordered four flavors, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry Mango, Orange Cream and Coco Ginger. So far, I've tried the Coco Ginger and I was surprised at how mild it was and it didn't have the sharp taste that ginger usually has. It is good and I enjoy it. I also tried the Orange Cream which was good. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors. The Orange Cream I'm sure my wife will like if I can get her to try it. But she can be very stubborn at times. I see there are some other flavors which I intend to try such as the Cinnamint, Cucumber Dill, Lemon Lavender and Strawberry Basil. Not sure if I should try the Ela Mint as I don't know how strong or mild the mint will be. I'm sure that if places such as Walmart brick & mortar stores sold this toothpaste, that it would sell really well.

Favorite toddler toothpaste
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I bought this for my 18month old who has all his teeth already. It works great. The smell is pleasant, the taste isn’t harsh, and the texture isn’t as thick as most toothpastes - perfect for a toddler. I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and have not noticed any irritation. He enjoys it about as much as any 18 month will, ha! It’s just as effective as fluorinated toothpaste. You get what you pay for. It’s a big tube!

Good flavor, not as full of tubes as I expected.
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 2), Set name: G. Orange Cream, Ela Mint
My kids have LOVED brushing their teeth with this. They had been fighting to let us brush for a while, so it was nice to find something they liked. My husband and I have been using the mint flavor, and it’s been good as well. We like the ingredients, and the texture is nice. The tubes both felt like they could have fit more, so I took off a star for size/value.
