  • Artists have been experimenting with film and pushing the boundaries of the moving image since the earliest years of the medium. Gaining momentum with the emergence of the expanded cinema movement in the 1960s, and further solidifying with video art in the 1970s, by the start of the new millennium, video art, moving image, and broader screen-based practices had become some of art’s most dominant and influential genres. Today, as we navigate the opportunities and implications of networked technologies and social media, the moving image is at the nexus of the cultural milieu – a key signpost through avant-garde practice, democratised video culture and the creative technologies pushing artistic boundaries.
  • Among this rich and dynamic cultural space, two Australian institutions have stood out as central pillars of this essential artform. Since 2009, Adelaide’s Samtag Museum of Art – in collaboration with the Adelaide Film Festival – and Melbourne’s ACMI have driven major commissioning programs for new moving image works that have helped both redefine and further locate the medium at the core of Australian and global creative practice. This book, the first of its kind in Australia, not only provides a rich reference and documentation of these crucial moving image commissions, but also provides a series of historical and newly commissioned critical and discursive reflections on both the artistic outputs and the role and history of commissioning practice. Outside the Frame: Art and the Moving Image is a guide to creativity, the artworks, and the institutional armature that underpins the moving image.

Very good product
These melatonin pills work. I bought them because sometimes I'm so stressed or pressured by everyday life that I find it hard to fall asleep. I don't use them every day, only when I really can't sleep and it's very late. I must say that this pill doesn't knock you out completely. I liked that. You fall asleep slowly, and the next day you don't feel groggy or like you've had too much to drink. It's a great product!

A Game-Changer for Sleep Disorders - Genuine Experience
I wanted to share my personal journey with Melatonin and how it has significantly improved my struggle with sleep disorders, specifically delayed sleep phase. Please note that this review is completely unbiased and I have received no compensation or free products for writing this. Living with delayed sleep phase has been incredibly challenging. I've tried various methods to reset my sleep schedule, but none seemed to offer a lasting solution. That's when I decided to give Melatonin a shot after hearing positive feedback from others. From the very first night, I noticed a difference. Taking Melatonin about 30 minutes before my desired bedtime helped me feel drowsy and ready for sleep. It wasn't a magic solution, and it took some time to fully adjust my sleep pattern, but Melatonin was a crucial aid in that process. What I appreciate about Melatonin is that it felt natural and non-intrusive. It didn't knock me out; rather, it gently guided my body into a state of relaxation conducive to sleep. Over a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed that I was falling asleep earlier and waking up feeling more refreshed. I want to stress that I purchased Melatonin on my own accord, and I'm sharing this review solely based on my experience. This isn't a paid review, and I didn't receive any free samples. My improvement in sleep quality is a testament to the product's effectiveness. If you're struggling with sleep disorders like delayed sleep phase, I encourage you to explore Melatonin as an option. Of course, it's always wise to consult with a healthcare professional before introducing any new supplement into your routine. In my case, Melatonin has been a game-changer, and I'm grateful to have found a solution that aligns with my goal of achieving a healthier sleep schedule. In conclusion, Melatonin has played a significant role in helping me manage my sleep disorder. It's not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it's certainly worth considering if you're seeking a natural way to regulate your sleep patterns. My experience is genuine, and I hope others find the relief they're seeking through Melatonin as well.

Very Broad Overview. A Little Disorderly
Format: Paperback
I liked the book. It's a very broad overview of the major time periods of Ancient Greece, concluding w/ Rome's conquest. It feels too short to convey all the information in a really meaningful fashion and sometimes the order the information is presented in seems a little disjointed. All in all, I felt like it was a good read and would recommend it to others seeking an introduction into the basic outline of the timeline and introduction to many of the major players.
