This is so exciting Arnie beamed. I wonder who will choose ME? At first glance, Arnie looks like an average doughnut--round, cakey, with a hole in the middle, iced and sprinkled. He was made by one of the best bakeries in town, and admittedly his sprinkles are candy-colored. Still, a doughnut is just a doughnut, right? WRONG Not if Arnie has anything to say about it. And, for a doughnut, he sure seems to have an awful lot to say. Can Arnie change the fate of all doughnuts--or at least have a hand in his own future? Well, you'll just have to read this funny story and find out for yourself. This title has Common Core connections Arnie, the Doughnut is a 2004 Bank Street - Best Children's Book of the Year.

Dragons

I can only say WOWS again—Casey Grimes wasn’t in this but others from the previous book where. Can’t wait to read the next book—will there be dragons in it—the previous books keep mentioning dragons and this book was excellent—I am going to hate when I run out of this series

Kansas City Dragon Business

This novel reveals a little-known part of Kansas City’s past—in the 1930s it was running a brisk dragon hatching, renting and sales business! Fast forward 80 or 90 years after the operation was shut down by the city—and be amazed! A suburban family with four boys moves into a 100-year old house in Crossroads of KC and into the adventure of their lives. Add a talking lizard and a trash-talking wizard out of the past, and you have a tale funny, terrifying, and thought-provoking all at once. I hope to see this in every bookstore window in Kansas City!
