Equipped with a venturi aeration valve, the Powerhead 30 enhances oxygen levels, which is crucial during times of increased water temperature, fish population, or when treating for diseases.
This pump can also be utilized to operate protein skimmers, essential components for most marine aquariums.
Combining the Powerhead 30 with an AquaClear Quick Filter provides extra mechanical filtration for clearer water and safeguards young fish.
Indispensable for smaller reef aquariums, the Powerhead 30 can be discreetly positioned while still generating beneficial water currents. Freshwater aquariums also reap the rewards of added currents in various scenarios.
The Powerhead 30 features numerous design, safety, and functional enhancements: a compact, energy-efficient, fully submersible motor unit encased in epoxy resin; adjustable flow control; a venturi option for enhanced aeration and superior air output compared to typical vibrator pumps; a vertical/horizontal output diverter; an adjustable flow control; a stem adapter; convenient suction cups for effortless installation; and an output hose adapter for easy connection to protein skimmers, spray bars, and more. Maximum flow rate: 660 LPH/175 U.S. gph. Recommended aquarium capacity: 120 litres/30 U.S. gal.
