Size: A medium-sized tree, typically growing 10 to 25 metres tall, though it can reach up to 30 metres in ideal conditions. Scent: The needles have a distinct, pleasant, minty-sweet aroma, reflected in its Latin name balsamea, meaning "balm". The resin, called "Canada Balsam," is used in fragrances and glues. Growth Habit: Features a symmetrical, narrow conical crown with dense branches extending nearly to the ground. Hardiness: It is very cold-hardy and native to a wide range across Canada, including parts of Saskatchewan (Eco Zones 1a to 6b) Light: Prefers full sun to partial shade but can tolerate shade, making it more shade-tolerant than many other firs. Soil: Thrives in moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soils. It does not do well in heavy clay or very dry conditions. Water: Requires consistent moisture. Water deeply, especially during dry periods, as it is not drought-tolerant. Root System: Has shallow roots, which makes it vulnerable to strong winds. Protection with days of white residue

Mineral sunscreens have yet to master blending in and this is no different. If you're thinking of hitting the beach with your sexy bum protected it'd better be a ghost beach because you'll look like you've been dipped in white paint. Oh, and it doesn't wash off, so be prepared to look like Casper for days to come.
It rolls on fine if you shake it well first and it does protect.

After I suffered a second-degree burn from steam, I was told by my doctor that I would have to keep my new fresh skin sun-blocked for up to a year to avoid any scarring or hyper pigmentation. This has been a great selection as it is a roll-on, Which helps a lot with preventing messes that can happen with traditional sunblock bottles. I also like that it is easy to travel with, and the fact that it is zinc based.
