The compilation takes it's listeners on a personal journey through Bill's 36-year long involvement in the music industry. Whether running DMC's New York offices or labels including Twisted UK and Forensic, being one of Fabric's original residents, or writing (with Frank Broughton) probably the definitive overview of DJ culture, Bill's fingerprints can be found all over dance music's past few decades. Tribal Rites isn't just a "House & Disco Greatest Hits", it's the soundtrack to a life spent at the coalface of record collecting, of early mornings at car boot sales, and late nights logged onto Discogs. Split into three sections, the compilation begins in the post-punk period, and explores the influence of dub on bands like Urang Otan, General Strike, and The Raincoats. The second section takes you into that mish-mash of sounds and styles best described as "Balearic" where the likes of Bobbie Gentry and Final Edition can happily co-exist and a country and western cover of Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That" seems obvious. The final section showcases what a broad church house music is, accommodating the spiritual yearnings of Mother Tongue and the precision tooled productions of Basic Channel's Maurizio. Tribal Rites is a vital reminder that there's a lot more to DJing than downloading the latest Beatport chart and waving your hands in the air. Presented as a triple CD set (ESK 508743) or over two double LP sets (ESK 508718 and ESK 508719). great way to contain things for easy access

This was a great little storage cart. I picked it because of its size I had a very specific area it needed to be fit. I appreciate that it's very close to counter height. This worked well for a certain area in the kitchen. It looks nice. I like that it's on sturdy Wheels.
My husband put it together the night before Thanksgiving lol.
It was a little bit complicated for my brain to process at the moment because of how much I had going on. But once you sit down to do it it's really not too bad.
I also really appreciate that the shelves are adjustable. This is a great option from using counter space or floor space for things I need quick easy access.
I use mine for storing dog supplements treats and the bottom fits a couple of gallon jugs for my distilled water and another for vinegar.
Ideally I'd love it if there was one side with an option to enclose so I could flip it around when guests come over. Not a huge deal breaker I'll think of something because I understand the intention of this was to slide it in between two things. Mine is not oriented that way. But it's still attractive and useful.

Shelf snapped during assembly; had to fight for refund with seller

I was really excited to get this cart for my kitchen because it looks nice and would fit really well between my fridge and my oven. However, when assembling the final shelf, it snapped and broke and became unusable. I reached out to the seller to see if they could offer replacement pieces and they told me no, offering a 40% refund or exchange instead. Like I said, I was literally on the final step of assembly with the shelf snapped, so I can’t take it apart and put it back in the box properly to ship back and 40% is NOT enough if I have to re-purchase the item. The last offer the seller made was for a 50% refund which is another terrible offer. So now I have a half-broken unit that I don’t know what to do with. Super disappointed. If you’re assembling this piece, make sure all your shelves fit properly! And if you have problems, don’t expect the seller to help you.
EDIT: The seller finally sent a 100% refund after emailing back and forth for several days. I did not have a good experience with this seller, so I will be donating the cart as-is and not be repurchasing.

Great quality & easy to assemble!

Very impressed with the quality of this product. The wood is nice quality, instructions are easy to read and the item was easy to assemble. They even provided all of the necessary tools, including a screwdriver to assemble it. Looks great in my newly finished laundry room.
