The letters work well as stamps so you can work on the letters in your name, stamping the beads into the play dough. Work with your child, using words in their current phonics skill level and have them stamp the words with the beads then trace the imprint with their finger, saying the letter name. This fun activity uses multiple senses for deeper learning.

1 set Uppercase rainbow letter beads in a storage jar
1 set Lowercase rainbow letter beads in a storage jar
1 jar of green coconut scented homemade play dough
1 jar of brown coconut scented homemade play dough
1 laminated letter matching mat featuring a tropical beach scene, double sided with uppercase letters on one side and lowercase letters on the other side.

*Recommended for ages 3 and up or when the child no longer puts objects in their mouth. Parent supervision required. Contains small pieces that are a choking hazard for young children.

Our play dough is homemade with all natural ingredients so it is non-toxic and taste safe. Play Dough Ingredients: flour, salt, vegetable oil, cream of tartar, food coloring, and candy flavoring oil. 

The play dough is long lasting if you store it in the airtight jars.  If you see salt crystals form on the dough, this is normal!  Simply squish it a bit and they will dissolve back into the dough. If you wish, add a drop of water and squish it. You really only need one drop of water and your dough is ready to play with again.

Additional suggestions: Wash hands and your play surface before playing with play dough. This will keep the kit clean and make the play dough last longer.
