Along with his seven-piece powerhouse band, The Lakers, the 68 year-old retired truck driver has created a sound that extends much deeper than throwback soul. After the band's 2014 debut album, I'm Still Here, came to fruition quicker than anyone expected, Sonny Knight and The Laker's released a live double album the following year. Since then they've been crisscrossing the globe bringing their hard-hitting sound to theaters, performing arts centers, festivals, and night clubs. Now, the band's sophomore studio set, Sooner Or Later, explores themes of overcoming adversity, love found, love lost, and societal observation. By focusing less on so-called groove makers and more on the songwriting process, Knight and company harnessed the power of the different genres that came together to shape what we have come to know as soul music over the last 50+ years. Great Resource
Format: Paperback
As a resource for NP school (and even after, I'm sure), this book is fantastic. I recommend it to anyone asking if it's worth it. I, however, refer them to a different site than Amazon as it is cheaper straight from the publisher. Significantly so. A hundred dollars difference doesn't quite justify the next day or 2-day delivery.

So good for soap notes!
Format: Paperback
I wish I could have gotten this sooner when we had to write soap notes. It explains the illness, symptoms, tests, treatments, referrals and follow ups. I got it used and it came in great condition. Would definitely buy again!

Awesome

I’m an FNP student and I love this. Great for hw and clinicals. Although I don’t take it to clinicals because it’s on the bigger and heavier side, but I do use it when I’m puzzled on a patient once I get home.
