This outstanding Necklace showcases a Red Jasper and Sterling Silver 4-Stone Inlaid Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Each stone represents a different type of Jasper, including Chestnut, Red Top, Fenton Glass and Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper. The blend of colors is attractive and striking. The Jasper has been inlaid with 1/4-inch tall handcrafted strips of Sterling Silver. The Sterling shines brightly against the rich red Stone and delineates each Jasper type. The Stones are wrapped in Sterling Silver Bezel that has been ornamented with Sterling Silver Ball Wire. The round Balls contrast nicely with the linear lines of the Stones and Pendant. The Jasper sits on a rectangular plate of Sterling Silver that has been attractively notched. The layering of Stones and Sterling produce a piece that is both substantial and elegant. The Pendant drapes from a custom Rolled Sterling Silver Bail. It is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling."

 We've paired the Pendant with 4 strands of Olive Shell Heishi, Gemstones and Czech Glass, including:

  • Brick-red Snakeskin Jasper Rounds (6mm);
  • Translucent Carnelian Rounds (6mm);
  • Bronzed cherry & metallic red Czech Fire Polished Glass Faceted Rounds (4mm);
  • Garnet & Picasso Red Czech Faceted Ovals (5.5-by-6.5mm);
  • Ruby Picasso Czech Glass Rounds (8mm);
  • Red Jasper Cubes (4mm);
  • Red Garnet Rectangles (5-by-8mm);
  • Burgundy red Czech Luster Glass Faceted Rondelles (8mm); and
  • Champagne-hued Crystal Bicones (4mm).

These elements add color depth, translucency and subtle sparkle. The stones are highlighted by six eye-catching 10mm Sterling Silver Stamped Rounds with Diamond Cut-Outs, and eight 6mm Sterling Silver Rounds, adding attractive shine to the design. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Ball-Wrapped Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 122 grams and is 20-1/2 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3 inches by 1-5/8 inches including the 5/8-inch Bail.

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.

I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.
