The Medtronic TX50 Bio-Probe™ Flow Transducer is a high-precision medical device engineered to deliver real, accurate blood flow measurement during extracorporeal procedures. Specifically designed for use with the Medtronic Bio-Console™ 560 Speed Controller System, this reusable adult flow probe provides clinicians with unparalleled accuracy, stability, and dependability in the most demanding surgical environments. Unlike conventional flow sensors that rely on indirect estimation, the TX50 uses direct blood conductivity measurement, ensuring that perfusionists and surgical teams have reliable real-time data to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Benefits of the Medtronic TX50

Unmatched Accuracy

The Medtronic TX50 delivers ±5% accuracy across its full flow range, giving cardiac surgeons and perfusionists absolute confidence in critical perfusion measurements. This level of precision minimizes risk and supports safer, more effective patient management.

Minimal Drift for Continuous Reliability

Engineered with Medtronic’s advanced sensor technology, the TX50 ensures drift less than 50 cc/min over a 24-hour period, even under continuous operation. This guarantees stable performance and reduces the need for recalibration, allowing clinicians to focus on the patient rather than device adjustments.

 Resistant to Clinical Variability

The TX50 flow transducer maintains its performance even under challenging clinical conditions. Variables such as turbulence, hematocrit changes, or blood temperature fluctuations do not affect the probe’s accuracy, making it a dependable choice in diverse surgical settings.

Reusable Adult Flow Probe

Built for sustainability and cost-effectiveness, the TX50 is a reusable adult transducer that reduces disposable costs without compromising performance. Hospitals and surgical centers benefit from long-term reliability and consistent results across multiple procedures.

FDA & CE Certified Safety and Compliance

The Medtronic TX50 is FDA-cleared (Class II device, Product Code: DPT) and CE-marked, ensuring it meets the strictest regulatory standards for safety and clinical performance. This makes it a globally trusted solution in cardiac surgery and extracorporeal circulation procedures.Clinical Applications

Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB): Provides surgeons with exact blood flow readings during open-heart procedures.

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO): Offers stable monitoring for extended support cases.

Perfusion Monitoring: Assists perfusionists in adjusting pump speed and optimizing patient care.

Adult Cardiac Surgery: Designed specifically for adult patients requiring precision perfusion management.

Why Choose the Medtronic TX50 Bio-Probe™ Flow Transducer?

Medtronic has set the global standard for cardiopulmonary and perfusion technology, and the TX50 continues this legacy by offering:

Direct, not estimated, measurement of blood flow for superior clinical decision-making.

Integration with Medtronic Bio-Console™ 560, ensuring seamless operation with existing perfusion systems.

Proven reliability backed by decades of Medtronic innovation in cardiovascular technology.

Trusted by perfusionists worldwide as the gold standard for extracorporeal monitoring.

With the TX50, clinical teams gain a robust, high-performance tool that enhances patient safety and surgical precision during life-saving cardiac procedures.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
