The eGong Wand is made with silicone rubber, adding durability. It can create soft low notes and build loud resonance, as well. These mallets work great on Chinese gongs. They can be used on Paiste gongs, but may leave residue or smearing, so they are best used on the back.

Ollihess Rubber Lava Friction Mallets are sleek, but textured, giving the perfect mixture of grip and maneuverability. They are made of high-quality, natural rubber. Because they're made of natural materials, they'll wear out over time. Here's some advice for extending the life of your mallets:

1. Keep them in a bag or box when not in use. Some of the materials are UV sensitive, so keeping them covered helps to protect them from both light and dust.

2. The rubber heads have been created to resist aging. Over time, white spots may appear on your mallet because of the nature of the age-protection. This is nothing to be concerned about.
