The spectacular gem and jewellery collection of the Romanov dynasty is documented in Russia’s Treasure of Diamonds and Precious Stones, documenting Russia’s regalia and crown jewels at the time of the overthrow of the tsarist government in 1917.

Published in 1925-26 by the Bolshevik government, only 350 copies were printed in three versions: Russian, French and English. The catalogue project was overseen by noted mineralogist A.E. Fersman, with the help of specialists, experts and jewellers including Agathon Fabergé from the House of Fabergé.

Of the 406 separate pieces in the treasure, 110 are documented as having come from the reign of Catherine II (1762-1796) and her son Paul I (1796-1801). The treasure is comprised of the Imperial Sceptre set with the approximately 190 carat (ct) Orlov diamond, the Imperial Globe set with an approximately 200 ct Ceylon (Sri Lanka) sapphire, the Great Imperial Crown featuring an approximately 402 ct spinel, the Imperial Nuptial Crown, chains, stars, crosses, emblems, diadems, necklaces, brooches, rings, earrings, as well as loose diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, spinels, pearls and alexandrites.

The Fersman catalogue states that the jewels, considered national property, would never be “sold or done away with.” Because the new Soviet Union desperately needed capitol, however, copies of the catalogue were sent to potential jewellery buyers anyway. Although the treasure was later removed from the market, some of the pieces were sold to a syndicate and eventually wound up at auction at Christie’s London on March 16, 1927. The majority of the collection remains in Russia at the Kremlin Diamond Fund in Moscow

This is the first time that the original 1925 four-part folio, has been published in book format, a facsimile of the copy from the private collection of Paul Gilbert.

Smells great
Scent: Aquatic
The fragrance is perfect. Not too heavy not too light. Kinda smells like designer cologne, I’m not going to mention the name.

For dry pits, this is it!
Style: Casked Vanilla, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This stuff works great. I used to use the Dove Men+ but they changed the formula and it did not work as well for me This formula (aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly) works phenomenally keeping the under arms dry and the Casked Vanilla is a nice, long lasting scent. Easily lasts all day and still smells fresh after 36-ish hours. I have not experienced any irritation. Glad I found this product!

Strong scent, strong protection
Style: Italian Bergamot, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Cremo Deodorant for Men with the 48‑hour sweat and odor protection, and it does a genuinely good job of keeping me dry and fresh through a normal workday and into the evening. The formula goes on smoothly without tugging, feels comfortable on the skin, and I haven’t noticed irritation or marks on my shirts, which is a big plus if you wear darker colors. The scent is classic Cremo: richer and more layered than a typical drugstore stick, so you get a more “cologne‑like” vibe rather than a basic soapy smell. In terms of performance, it holds up really well for office, errands, and casual activity, and you only really start to notice it fading after a long, hot day or heavier workouts. If you run very hot or do intense outdoor work, you might want to reapply or pair it with a body spray, but for most day‑to‑day situations the protection is more than enough. Overall, if you like bolder, sophisticated scents and want something that feels a step up from basic antiperspirants without complicating your routine, this stick is easy to recommend.

Smells Incredible and Actually Works!
Style: Palo Santo, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
’ve tried a lot of men’s deodorants over the years, but this one from Cremo — Palo Santo Antiperspirant & Deodorant — really stands out. The scent is next-level: smooth, woodsy, and just a little bit exotic without being overpowering. It smells high-end, almost like a cologne you’d pay good money for. Performance-wise, it absolutely delivers. I stay dry and fresh all day, even through long work hours and workouts. The 48-hour protection claim actually holds up — I’ve gone a full day and into the next morning without any trace of odor or stickiness. It also goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave white marks on dark shirts, and doesn’t have that waxy or powdery feel some antiperspirants do. The packaging feels premium too, which fits the Cremo brand. Bottom line: If you want a deodorant that smells incredible and actually performs like it says it will, this one’s worth every penny. Palo Santo is now my go-to scent — masculine, clean, and unique.
