Pansy crochet scarf kit

This kit is for a Pansy scarf and contains a pattern and two skeins of double knit weight Nut base merino silk yak yarn. No hooks are included. The yarn for the pansy flowers is not included although the instructions to make the pansy are within the pattern. It comes in an organza bag so would make a lovely gift.

Nut is made up if 60% superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 20% Yak and each DK skein is  100g and approx. 212m.

This is a very soft and lustrous yarn. The natural grey colour adds depth and richness to the final colour. It drapes beautifully.

A kit for a matching Pansy hat is also available.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
