On the solstice we came together. On the summer solstice 2019 the extended Warp family came together with online radio station NTS to celebrate the label's 30th anniversary. With over 1 00 hours of original music programming, the weekend-long communion featured mixes, documentaries, live performances, film and sessions from the whole Warp roster including Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Flying Lotus, Danny Brown, Autechre and Kelela, plus a handful special guests including Death Grips and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Over the weekend, hundreds of thousands of music fans tuned in share in the celebration with the label, artists and each other via chat rooms, forums, social media and IRL playbacks in record shops, cafes and bars around the world.-Now, as the summer draws to a close, Warp continue the radio theme with a special set of releases. WXAXRXP Sessions features ten specially selected sessions recorded for radio from across the history of the label, from Peel sessions in the very early days right up to the aforementioned WXAXRXP x NTS weekend. Not ultra dense, but very soft and cozy

This is a really nice throw. It’s very soft and cozy, and for the price, I think it’s a great value.
I like the sewn-in label too. It gives it a slightly more high-end look compared to the more generic fuzzy blankets you see everywhere now.
The texture is a little different from some faux fur blankets I’ve had. It’s not that super dense, ultra-short type where you can’t really see the fibers. This one has a bit more length to the pile, so you can see the strands more. It’s more like a thicker but slightly airy kind of softness, and it’s really nice on my skin. It’s really, really cozy to snuggle up with.
👋 One thing I always recommend with blankets like this—no matter the brand—is do not put it in the dryer. Even on low, the heat and tumbling will start to change the texture. If you want it to stay as soft as it is when you first get it, wash it gently and let it air dry.
The reason is all faux fur is made from very fine synthetic fibers (basically plastic). Even low heat and the tumbling action can cause those fibers to start to stiffen, flatten, or slightly melt together over time. Once that happens, it loses that soft, fluffy texture and you can’t really get it back.
I think this would make a great gift, and it’s hard to find a faux fur blanket this soft at this price point.

Super soft! Love this!

So Good I Need Even More!!

This is one of the softest most luxurious blankets I have ever found!! Absolutely beyond compare. Lovely and comfy, it’s beyond a steal of a deal. It doesn’t fall apart or tear, and it holds form after wash instead of shrinking. I need more!!

Soft, well made

Our household never seems to have enough blankets or throws, so I decided to try this one for one of my kiddos. Our family is strongly ASD, so I was hoping this would be a winner.
The outer shell has a faux fur that looks glittery. It is soft, but also has a weird coating that went hope goes away with washing.
The inner side is very soft. It's comfortable to use, and for us, did not trigger any sensory issues. It's got a decent weight for a throw, but isn't obnoxious about it. This throw is enough to keep warm without overheating.
At the current price of $39.99, it seems like a good deal. I did remove 1 star for the weird coating, but will update as appropriate.
