Formed in 1982, Live Skull is considered by many aficionados to be the quintessential New York noise band. Together with Sonic Youth and Swans, Live Skull defined the term "noise rock" in the 1980s, spearheading the post-No Wave underground music scene in NYC with a series of legendary live performances and eight groundbreaking records released over the course of that decade. Often brutal and yet strangely seductive, each of these classic records creates hooks out of the most unlikely, seemingly disruptive elements, subverting traditional rock forms in previously unheard ways that became an undeniable (albeit often unacknowledged) influence on many of their contemporaries. After a 30-year break, Live Skull will be releasing a new album in early November, Saturday Night Massacre, via Bronson Recordings, featuring current members Mark C, Rich Hutchins, and Kent Heine, as well as former members Thalia Zadek and Marnie Greenholz.

My son had prom and the theme was, "Your Night to Shine," so he and his girlfriend decided they needed to SHINE. And when this boy picks for a theme, he picks!
He is 5'11 150 lbs, very thin, but also muscular and ordered a small. The sleeves were a bit short on him, but that's to no fault of the jacket, it's just been his life as a tall, lanky kid. Great quality, steamed the creases out easily, and stayed together the entire evening.

Jacket is decent. It’s good for the stage. It looks a bit cheap up close. Probably good for prom but for an adult wearing it to a function I can’t say I would recommend it. But it’s great for the stage! We have worn them many times and they hold up well. I’ve even washed them in the washing machine on delicate cycle without any problems. Just hang it to dry and you’re good to go. It holds it shape and doesn’t wrinkle. A good value for the money. The sequences are this color as they are shown. The sizes are true to fit.
