Quickbond SCA 22L - EPDM Spray Contact Adhesive

Quickbond EPDM Spray Contact Adhesive is an extremely effective and high strength solvent-based bonding adhesive. It is designed and manufactured especially for flat roofing installations. At Rubber Flat Roof, our range of Quickbond Contact Adhesives are high in solid content to ensure a secure bond to most surfaces. We offer this high-quality EPDM Spray adhesives in a 22L canister or for ease a 750ml Spray can option.

Quickbond Contact Adhesive is very easy to use and we have tutorials to help you. In addition to giving an instant bond, the new Quickbond product comes in four handy sizes:

• 22L - coverage up to 75m2 - requires Spray Hose & Gun
• 750ml - coverage up to 3m2 (Spray canister)

IMPORTANT - Solvent-based adhesives must be used in a well-ventilated area.

Application Process for 22L & 750ml Spray Contact Adhesive

• Shake can well before use (not required for canister)
• Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust or grease
• Spray adhesive from 15 – 20cm away onto both surfaces with 80% – 90% coverage to both substrate and EPDM.
• Allow adhesive to dry for 2 – 5 minutes before bonding
• Once the EPDM is laid, consolidate the bond with a weighted roller or soft broom
• Excess adhesive can be removed with a solvent cleaner such as Acetone.

Note: In addition for the 22L canister, a hose and gun should be connected to the canister for use. Once these have been attached and the gun trigger is in the closed position, the canister tap should be opened and left open to prevent air from getting into the gun/hose and causing blockages. This requires specialist HazChem shipping as it is a Class 1 product.
