Block Boundaries is the new album from minimalist composer Ryan Teague building on his previous releases for Type, Sonic Pieces and current label Village Green. Inspired by the theme of psychogeography, the record fuses acoustic instrumentation with electronic and processed material, taking the listener on a hallucinogenic Ballard-ian journey through from the thrumming urban activity of New York, Amsterdam and London. Brooding opener "Site & Situation" sets the tone with hypnotic guitar and mallet chimes, emotive cello swells and surging bass synth, "Last Known Position" comes on like a lost Tangerine Dream jam session, spiraling arpeggios and oscillating pulses, while "Liminal Space" introduces driving percussion around mesmeric synth pulses and a shimmering piano progression. Closer "End of the Line" brings the journey to an end in an introspective mood - a wavering synth figure cut against wistful drone washes that fade into the distance. Block Boundaries is a masterful achievement of melody, form and texture that rewards more with every captivated listen and will assuredly secure Ryan Teague's place alongside his acclaimed contemporaries such as Nils Frahm, Jon Hopkins, Emeralds and Hauschka.

Best fluffy but firm pillows

These pillows are worth every penny! They started off pretty flat but after three days they plumped up well. In addition to them being plump, they are also firm. Exactly what I was looking for. You can shake up the internal stuffing if you want them softer too. They were a bit pricey but I’m going to repurchase and replace all my home pillows with these. I do sleep hot and the cooling side is perfect to lay on. Kept me cool and comfortable. I haven’t had any neck or back pain after switching to these pillows too. Absolutely recommend these for your home. The photo shows how full the pillows are. I have four pillows in the picture plus two smaller other brands. These are definitely fluffier.

Worth it!

These pillows are amazing and very soft and comfortable. They came nicely packaged and I let them sit out for just a few hours before using them and that was plenty of time! They come with the cooling cover and fit a standard queen sized pillowcase. The material expands well and does not have any weird smells. 10/10 well worth the price.

Miracle pillow

Best pillow I’ve ever had. I have been using this since December 2024 and it still hasn’t gotten flat. It is amazingly comfortable and solves all my neck issues for a side sleeper. My head never gets hot either. I’ve recommended this to my friends and they’ve had success with it as well.

Really wanted to love these

I really wanted to love these but they gave me a stiff neck. I haven't slept with a pillow since buying these. They are firm except where you lay your head. It just deflates there. I expected it to sink in to match the curve of my neck but it was more than I could handle. My head ended up in a valley between the two ends of the pillow. The price was good, zipper worked fine, it looks as advertised and the pillows are good quality. The cooling part works, its just not what I needed.
