Being some twenty eight miles north of the city of Belfast it was possible for the farming neighborhood to see the bombing of the city by German Nazi planes.
One dark night Uncle Ben, his son Wilbur and daughter Betty together with cousin Kevin are watching the glow over the city when an enemy plane touches the top of the tall trees around the farm house and crashes on one of the fields further on. There is a horrendous explosion and it is assumed that all the crew perished. But no! The pilot escaped and the hunt is on by the Police and Royal Air force to find him. ThatÕs when the two boys and the girl form their own team to run him down. Wulldog, their fox-terrier, gets involved and the adventure begins.
