A CLASSIC FISHING BOAT FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA
All Mediterranean fishing boats are of similar appearance, just presenting some differences on the design depending on the place they were built. The Mare Nostrum was built at the Spanish harbour of Arenys de Mar.

It had an overall length of 15 meters, a beam of 3.5 meters with a displacement of 10 tons, and was powered by a 40HP diesel engine.

Build the 1:35 wooden scale model of this mythical fishing boat of the Mediterranean Sea. Designed for intermediate modelers and renewed by Artesania Latina's modelers, Mare Nostrum will also appeal to more experienced modelers thanks to all the fine details included in the kit. It has boxes for fish, small cabins, a detailed engine, a winch and all the trawling gear.

The wooden model ship kit contains all the parts you need to assemble the model. It includes a DVD for computers -PC & MAC- with step-by-step instructions. The kit does not include printed instructions. You can also download the digital instructions for free on the Artesania Latina website.

As a gift, Mare Nostrum brings the wooden exhibition base and the ship name plate. Once it is built, the fishing boat model measures 16.14'' (410mm) length, 10.62'' (270mm) height and 4.13'' (105mm) width.
